Prison Break S03E13 HDTV XviD-XOR

So, its 3 in the morning where I live but the wait is over for the new Prison Break, hopefully this episode is worth it! Last episode was so intense it had me on the edge of my seat for 40 minutes. Exciting stuff. So now they’re out, will be interesting to see what Mr. Scofield has planned for himself and his posse. And what about that bastard Whistler just taking off like that? Because of the Writers Strike (which is now over) this is the last episode to have been produced. This means we will probably have to wait quite a bit before we get to see episode 314.

Michael & Lincoln must hand over Whistler to Susan so they can save LJ and Sofia’s lives; Mahone seizes a golden opportunity; T-Bag shows Sona who’s boss; a familiar face enters Sona as another leaves it in a body bag.

    In the US last week when FOX was promoting this episode they called it the “Season Finale”

    I’m guessing the next episode will be 401 not 314….at least according to what FOX said.

    There are currently rumors going that this may be the last episode ever. The ratings for this season were down from the previous 2 years and the rumors say Fox doesn’t plan on bringing it back.

    IF that’s true then this episode sucked cause it left a lot of unresolved story arcs.

    the ratings for this season are down because this seasons script was really really bad. nothing new at all, just the same old story in a slightly different location. if they want to continue this show they better come up with a shocking new twisted story.

    No way is this the last season. First of all Michael still has to find gretchen and wisler, and than there is sukre. if they want to mix it up they might have him snitch (i doubt it he lived through torture in this episode for mike) on mike and the others because the look on his face when they threw him in sona was one of those that says “i didnt do anything, i miss my family and friends” btw i think that sukre is one of the bravest characters on the show after 2day

    I can’t believe T-Bag shot Lecharo like that!! Damn, T-Bag is the best character on this show, out of all of them. Can’t wait for next season!

    I’ve got news for you; No matter when this show ends, there will be a lot of unresolved story arcs. That’s the very nature of the show. If they ever resolve them, the show is over. Very few shows today run to their planned conclusion (if they have one) or have advance notice of when the final season will be. So the people making the shows end each season with several story arcs unfinished, hoping that the show will get picked up for the next season. Most end up being cancelled.

    Just off the top of my head on Fox, there’s been;

    Space Above and Beyond
    Freakylinks
    The Lone Gunmen
    Harsh Realm
    Dark Angel
    Firefly
    John Doe

    And those are only the shows I remember, I have the feeling I’m missing some other obvious ones.

    The sad fact is that networks don’t give a rat’s ass about the shows or their viewers. To them, a show is nothing more than an interchangeable “product” that they use to fill the time between commercials. You might hear a network say that they’re “committed” to a show. This is a lie. The only committment a network has is to ratings. When a show gets good ratings, the network loves it. When the ratings drop, they throw it away like you throw away an empty can, and with about as much emotion. The only value a show serves (from the network’s point of view) is to get people to watch the ads and to lure viewers away from the other networks. If it’s not doing that, it’s worthless.

    And to counter the inevitable suggestion that people watch all the repeats to boost ratings; If you’re not a “Neilson” family, you might as well be watching paint dry because it will have the same effect on the ratings (none).

    Wow…what an emotional episode…well worth watching. You can really relate with Scofield’s anger in this.

    Left a load of unsolved twists, so I hope there’s either a new season, or an episode to round of what’s been left. Prison Break has always been one of my favourite programs of all time…they can’t just leave it out to hang like this. I sure as hell hope those rumors don’t bear any resemblance to the truth.

    Nah, im sure Lincoln was on BBC Radio 1 a few months back with Edith Bowman talking about this season of Prison Break..

    He said that they had filmed 14 episodes and they were waiting for the writers strike to end so they are ready to get on with it.

    I watched American Dad last night and it flashed up during the episode that this was going to be a finale, but i think it will just take a break for a month and then it will be back! :)

    To the list of Fox shows that were cancelled with unresolved endings, you can add Tru Calling and Point Pleasant.

    Fox renewed Tru Calling for a second season, then they cut the order to 13 episodes, then to 6 episodes, then they cancelled it before any of the second season had even aired. They finally started airing them almost a year later, played 5 and then pulled it off the air. They replaced it with Point Pleasant. They aired 8 episodes, pulled it, waited three months, then put 3 more episodes on with no promotion at all, then cancelled it permanently with two episodes still unaired.

    Fox = F*** Over Xtreme, it’s what they do to their shows and their viewers.

    The only reason ratings would be down is because of the inconsistency in airing schedules. Two weeks on, three or four weeks off. Who can keep dedicated with that sort of crap? And it had nothing to do with the the “writers strike”. (until now, apparently)

    Well i think this is the end of season 3, it isn’t a real cliffhanger like the other episodes.
    But i don’t think they’re gonna cancel this show, its one of the biggest series in the world so cancelling this is suicide :)
