Prison Break S03E08; Heroes S02E08

I thought it would be a good idea to combine both Prison Break and Heroes episodes into a single post because they are both very popular! For those who post http urls to the TV posts on rlslog; we owe them a thanks because they do bring in more visitors to the site. The torrents for both aren’t online yet and EZTV server is overloaded, but if you wait an hour or so they should be up. Susan decides to take the escape into her own hands; Lechero finds a buried secret; more of Whistler’s past is revealed by Sofia; Mohane’s freedom depends on his testimony.

    Am I the only one who can’t seem to download from the various hosting sites? Rapidshare.com mostly works during the day, but if I try to download at night, 9 out of 10 downloads abort before the file is finished. To download a 366MB TV show, I usually end up downloading about 2GB of data due to all the failed downloads. I tried the Netload link for Heroes and the first time it stalled before reaching even 1MB. The second time, it got to 3.5MB before stalling.

    Note that downloads from other sources such as web sites and some other hosting sites like DepositFiles work fine.

    @35 SupeS,

    From what I’ve heard, they’re going to air three more episodes and then end the season. Supposedly, episode 11 was going to finish up the current story arc anyway, and then they were going to begin the next which would continue into next season. Now they’re going to end the second season there.

    purchased a megashares ticket recently. not so much on it as RS, but without DL restrictions it seams like a better deal for DLing hdtv content.

    nice.

    was surprised how fast i hit that 25GB per week limit on RS while downloading 720p TV shows and movies.

    OMG! the torrent for heroes has 30,00 seeders and 50,000 leechers! the speed was mind blowing!! maxed out over 1.2mb/sec with only connected to 800 peers total

    That’s what it’s been doing to me! Start a download, it gets to about 25-50% done then it aborts. I have to download some of the files 4-5 times in a row before it sends the whole thing.

    @54 quin,

    Unless you pay for a static IP address, most all internet accounts today use a dynamic IP, meaning that you get a different IP address each time you log on. The free Rapidshare tracks your usage by your IP address and also by cookies. So, after you download one file, clear your browser’s cookies (or just delete any from Rapidshare), then logoff your internet account, wait a couple seconds, then log back on. I believe there are ways to do it without logging off, but they’re more involved. Power cycling your modem should accomplish the same thing.

    Or you could try the “133t” approach and use a proxy server. Doing so will even allow you to download more than one file at a time, as long as they’re using a different proxy server. Just do a search on Google for “public proxy” and pick a list. Next, realize that about 90% of the servers on public proxy lists don’t work, 5% work but are too slow to use, 4% work and have a decent speed but have already been used to download from Rapidshare. Which leaves 1% that will work, have a decent speed and allow you to download from Rapidshare. Of course, once you’ve downloaded something through one of them, you run into the same limitation and can’t use it again for a couple hours. :)

    Little info regarding the Prison Break.
    This episode (S03E08 – Bang & Burn) was the last one for this year, kind of a mid-season finale…

    The remaining few episodes from the third season will be broadcasted after the new year, in the following order:
    14 Jan 08 – Boxed In
    21 Jan 08 – Dirt Nap
    28 Jan 08 – Under and Out
    11 Feb 08 – The Art of the Deal

    Because of the strike, “The Art of the Deal” will probably be used as a Prison Break season finale.

    As for other TV shows, they will be broadcasted throughout Nov. and Dec. until they run out of episodes (in the next 3-6 weeks):
    Heroes – 11 of 24 episodes completed.
    House – 13 of 22 episodes completed.
    etc…

    i just downloaded a program called rapidshare unlimited and when ive downloaded the 100 meg, i just double click the rapidshare unlimited shortcut and then i can download again, no waiting B.S.

    Thats when im using rapidshare links, hardly ever do cause it sux ass, poor speed compared to torrents for me.
