why the hell I can’t even run the game?:(

You need to start a new game from scratch. Old saves don’t work, they are incompatible. This is stated clearly by SKIDROW in their nfo.

can someone please upload saves after you climb up the two waterfalls and run around to swing on the switch? its a area also with the sarcophagus behind one waterfall. I dont want to play the whole again just because the saves are incompatibile

Actually it says you will need to start again if you’re trapped behind a door from a checkpoint load, not simply unable to continue because of a nonworking switch or timer.
works perfectly with old save game for me but i was just before the prison and now currently working my way through it, if you’re stuck at the prison door you need to start a new game.
once again SkidRow delivers

i used the previous save that was stuck at the prison, i swap back to the old crack and got past that door, ofc i’ll be swaping back again when i get to the other door that was reported as not working with the orginal crack, just didn’t want to have to start over
Well i can confirm that even with a New Game (just imported the talents from my first easy clear) the Door in the Royal Chambers won’t open so i guess we have to wait for the next fix^^
Somehow this feels like a corrugated Pipe… you fix one thing … then another hole rears its ugly head.

Saving Notes:
If you have a savegame with you trapped behind a door, because you returned to a checkpoint after you died, then you need to restart a new game. It’s not possible to fix your save, as your save relay on old packets that are wrong.

Just finished the game using this release.
I did encountered a door that wasn’t able to open so I used the trainer trick.
Only one though.

Play the game in Normal mode, when it stuck on Fortress door, hit Esc and reduce your difficulty level and try that part again.

So you are another one of those typical kiddo game “rushers” these days, those kiddos who have no patience, dont explore the scenery even in beautiful games like this, they just got the modern A.D.D. syndrome and run through all games as fast as they can. Me on the other hand, i explore, i enjoy the visual experience, I think i played MW2 for some 10-12 hours! if not more! Then on the 2nd play through i did a faster more rushed gameplay, but you kiddos these days with your damn ADD and ADHD syndromes, you just run through games as fast as u can and then straight to multiplayer if it exists. Some even skip the solo campaigns entirely thats how short their attention span is! sick!
wlll test later, the first one worked on my unleashed release.
stuck at royal chamber where you climb up and a gate is supposed to be lowered at the top floor but it’s glitched. lowered the difficulty and tried again from the last check point but didn’t work. have to wait for a 3rd crack or if anyone else is also stuck there post your workarounds.

to pass it, apply the first crack from skidrow, then the door will open, then after you found save point, reapply the crackfix…
I get kind of artifacts almost at the beginning. But they don’t look exactly like artifacts. I am also playing Assassins Creed II and I don’t get that failure.
Anyone else with this problem?

Yo RuloBC! This happen to me with original. Me card got so hot that yellow were the big lines of artifacts but me had other colors also. Me also installed the new beta driver on Guru 3D and the setihs all good so far meh and not coming back. Could be heat or game/driver. Do try alt+tab and let it idle for 1 minute, then go back to game, does it stop for a bit? Mine did.

i don’t know if this is what skidrow meant as the easter egg using the crackfix.
but i accidentally stumbled on a glitch when i was at the rooftop gardens level at normal difficulty mode.
somehow everytime you upgrade, and then load the last checkpoint afterwards, your current powerup levels will not reset to the state when you first started that checkpoint.
for example, supposing you have 200 xp at the beginning of a checkpoint and you need 260 total for the next upgrade.
by the time you can upgrade, let’s say a flame trail level 3, you apply and exit, then load the last checkpoint, you will then notice that you revert back to 200 xp but flame trail level 3 now stays active, when normally it should have been still a 2.
you can do this same process for all of other power-ups, and in no time, you can go through the proceeding levels with maxed-out powers.
haven’t tried this though on the early levels when the prince gets his first upgrade.

thank you dr crack, but it still bugs you kan is in the storm or the flood c and one is fighting the final boss, after you dodge the kinematics or the second time you landed on a platform and Kelka millisecond after you it passes through and you die and resumed at the last backup. (Just before the bug after two or three combat phase). I wait impatiently for the new crack in the No. 3 will be a espéren kil otherwise I’ll never (sniff). thank you and the team good luck.

I installed the game, installed correctly. I applied the crackfix, worked correctly. I click on either GU.exe or prince of persia.exe and a black screen comes up, then it says “prince of persia.exe has stopped working” and closes.
I’ve tried compatibility mode, registry editing.. etc.
Windows 7 Home Ed. 32 bit.
Any ideas?

Well…. let me rewind and see what are the FACTS….:

1. Skidrow got the crack out just a few hours after the BETA Crack (that WASENT MADE BY skidrow)
2. After screwing with our brains about the values and data transfer inside the game system….well…after that it seems that “they” dident get the VALUES right – (now that dosent feel legit)
3. after that we discovert that the crack was apile of cr@p!!!
4. they did say sorry and gave us a: “Crack-Fix” – which, again was a pile of CR@P
5. then they said Go get the “Crack-Fix.REPACK” – and still game dosent run!!

It works flawless to the end (all played in Normal). Still haven’t killed the last boss but you’ll be able to play the all game without any problem (at least I didn’t had any)

shut pc for 1 min’

intsall clean copy – aplly crack
PLAY!
for anyone stuck at the door in royal chambers: just exit the game and copy skidrows original crack into the installation directory then resume your game. this will let you through the door but be sure to to copy the crackfix into the installation directory soon after or you will find other problems. this way you shouldn’t have to start your game again… it worked for me.

The crackfix repack works. I started a NEW GAME on normal with it and every doors open all the way to the end. The only bug is that there are 2 upgrades that you can’t get no matter what but that’s not really a big issue anyway.
Hmm thx for replying merlin but i can’t seem to find it. I’m using windows 7 ultimate (64x). I found soms other savegames from other auto save games in the My games map but not PoP

The Save Game Folder Called “SKIDROW” and in it there are only 2 folders named “2″ & “11″!
All other storage you have with all kinds of numbers in them are not from POP5. (maybe just cause or conviction or AC2) but not POP5
POP5 got only 2 folders named “2″ & “11″!
finished the game. for folks w/ stuck doors use crack 1 and once past it, apply crack 2. like others said the wishy-washy ending wasn’t the best and left a bitter taste in my mouth. other than that enjoyed it while it lasted.
Second crackfix has been working great for me all the way up to the Rooftop Gardens. No crack-related problems so far. I just wish the same could be said for the game itself.
Nothing’s more frustrating than getting to the last jump/wallrun of an incredibly long sequence only to have the game throw a weird camera angle at you that makes the game misinterpret your pressing of the “up” key as “fling yourself as hard as humanly possible away from the wall in an attempt to annihilate your body in the most painful way possible,” forcing you to re-attempt not only the aforementioned jump sequence but also the past eight to ten sequences, as you’ve already been robbed of your time-reversals as a result of a slew of previously encountered awkward camera angles and misinterpreted control inputs.

i don’t think it’s a bug. but pretty damn hard, more likely.
and i’m running out of blue spheres, so can’t use the stone armor.

i’m using EASY MODE, cause og earlier bug, but i dunno,, when i move forward and trying to jump, i’m clickin alt but it’s not coming

at the reservoir with the swinging logs, you have to be somewhere mid-air before pressing alt.
remember the platform where you start your jump? it’s part of another area of past memory. you have to be a little far away from it before activating the next one.
my problem before was the timing of the jump. couldn’t get it right numerous times. i’m now at the “final climb” level.
don’t know what’s the problem with your game, people.
i’ve just beat the game at normal mode using skidrow’s crackfix with nogrp’s version. of course, i had to start a new game with the fix.
but there were no problems like you’ve all just mentioned here.
the traps were the most fun, not too easy nor too hard either.
the final boss fight was a bit of a downer though, even though you have to fight within a 5 by 10 meter floating floor space.
the outro movie was unexpectedly dull.
there were some narrations too spoken by the prince after the end credits. IMO, there was no hint in there for a possible sequel to the sands saga.
by the way, you can still upgrade your powerups during challenge mode, if they haven’t maxed out yet.

I installed the game before the first crack was released. Then i applied the “Skidrow-Crack” and played to the Palace-Lvl, where the door wasn’t opening… now i overwrote the old files with the new fixed-filed and it still won’t open !!… do i need to install the game freshly or what do i need to do ?
How do you fly in the PC version?Im stuck after the talk witj the Djinn and there is one gap and on the other side are some skeletons but i cant make it there!

Ive installed the game after this new crack, so i began the game with the new crack and the door, after the two waterfalls, still doesnt open, so stop saying i need to start a new game when it still needs another crackfix.

don’t know what and how you installed? but skidrow’s crackfix has been working for me either using clonedvd-nogrp and unleashed versions.
beat the game twice using normal mode.
may i know which specific level were you stuck at?
sewers? rekem’s reservoir? rooftop gardens? throne room?
also if you still have problems with certain door triggers, try loading from your last checkpoint.

I have reached the garden reservoir & there is a certain place after the checkpoint where u have to shoot straight to the fire-hanging-enemy, then u slide & after that there are numerous water poles to climb like 5 or more…there is my problem…using that easter egg or cheat(by dying several times in same place)i got all upgrades, ofcourse most of them don’t work…& now in this place i’m running out of blue meter, no matter how hard i try…can anyone help…
finished whole game without any problem (except upgrades, my upgrades reseted every game relaunch) with skidrow repack crack.

hmm floating enemy who shoots fireballs, is that it?
i believe the part you’re referring to is after killing that enemy then slide over a collapsed pathway, you need to perform the water freeze to wall run a waterfall, jump right to a series of water spouts.
if there is a waterfall blocking your jump between two spouts, you need to time your jump to unfreeze when crossing the waterfalls, then freeze again just before landing on the next spout.
then after the last spout, jump right before performing another power of flight to kill another floating enemy standing on a platform.
i didn’t have any problems with this crack. WORKED PERFECTLY!!! I’m so happy i finished this game in 4 days.

skidrow repack crack works at the Royal Chambers Door, so you dont need to first apply 1 Skidrow Crack, than the FixCrack to pass the Door… Don’t know if I’m going to encounter any other bug…
I am pretty sure that the crackfix repack works 100%, as long as you start off a new game. I finished the game with only a few problems. First off, the two final upgrades cannot be bought. One of them stays grey, no matter what you do, and the other doesn’t save when I buy it. Sometimes the doors behind me failed to close, and so I could see level geometry disappearing (I fell through it once). Other than these minor issues, no problem at all. Though I would love to see these minor bugs polished off with a new crack, especially the upgrades one.
i have a problem in the last battle.when the cutscene ends,when prince came into the final platform to beat the monster,the platform gets invisible and i fell down and there is no option for reverse time,i tried all cracks but did not solved the problem.anyone plzzzzzz guide me……

I jumped over the bar and accidentally pressed the key “q” and the door opened …

Hi,
There is another method you can make it work.
For me it works.
There were two versions crack releases were made. The first set of crack files and crackfix repack version.
For opening the door of royal chambers, copy paste the first release of the crackfix and make the setting with screen resolution to 600*480 and uncheck the check box with high resolution. Press okay in the settings tab.
Now continue the game from the royal chambers. the door opens
and now complete the level or till the next checkpoint or untill the door bug comes again for the second time in another level.
Save the game now.
After this, recopy the crackfiles of second release (repack version) and reset the video settings to normal (800*600) with high resolution.
Again open the prince of persia and play. the door bug fix will be done and can continue till the end.
The level for playing should be under Easy mode.
Hope this works for you also.
