MEDiEVAL has released yet another pre-air DVD screener of a new show, Pretty/Handsome. I don’t have much to say as I have not watched this yet, but reading what the show is about, hm… sounds interesting but maybe not for me. Also, defiantly kudos to MEDiEVAL on releasing these pre-airs.
Show Summary:
From Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy comes a new drama pilot based on the life of a family man who realizes he’s a transsexual and opts for gender reassignment surgery. The show was originally titled “4oz.”. Creator Ryan Murphy says the original title refers to the average weight of a man’s penis. The show is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Plan B Entertainment.

Why not? American TV has always led the way in cutting edge genre series. Queer As Folk, The L Word, Twin Peaks, Jerry Springer…..Umm…Let’s just forget that last one, mmmkay?

@3 You can’t be serious about Queer as Folk. That was originally a UK tv show and had an American version made. It was also toned down from the UK series.

This show is definitely one too watch..its is basically about subjective sexuality in an objective world.

This was definitely very interesting.
the direction was pretty bad but other than that, it was much better than Nip/Tuck. As for US viewers accepting the show, well… they won’t even get the chance. Hasn’t been picked up and the pilot will never even air. And that’s where I’m glad for preairs… it’s just cool to know what the powers that be keep from us… and sad when you see what actually makes it to the screen… only to be yanked after 8 episodes of pure crap!
