“… the longest running football management game on the market…” This is only partially true. Football Manager (incl. earlier Championship Manager) have kept it going for atleast 17 years. even if you take into account the split for a few years ago atleast one of them are running longer then 15 years.

i used to love prem man back in 98-2000 then after that it went down hill then they had a break came back i got a copy of it then i sold it after a few hours of game play.

Football Manager 2010 is the way to go in my opinion out end of month i have it on pre-order

Championship Manager 2010 has some nice features but not in the league of FM at all. IMO ut went down hill after the split my last fave CM was the 02/03 game

Actually Football Manager & Premier Manager were two totally differently related titles.

Football manager was a game for the Spectrum as your link states but Premier Manager was a different game made by a different company in 1992 for the Amiga & Atari.

Neither of the two games are related at all.

    The original quote was:-

“… the longest running football management game on the market…” This is only partially true. Football Manager (incl. earlier Championship Manager) have kept it going for atleast 17 years. even if you take into account the split for a few years ago atleast one of them are running longer then 15 years.”

So my claim of the original football manager being 27 years old still stands. i never claimed the two games where the same if you had bothered to check

i just pointed out that the quote of it being 17 years old was WAY wrong especialy since the author then followed it up with >> “Nah, I’m just sick of those who doesn’t check their sources before stating something.” He obviously did not, so the pwnage stands!

Oh and nobody mentioned premier manager, was that fact also lost on you?

so now you are pwned too!
