VMWare all day you don't need to keep 5 services and 2 support apps running that will eat 60 MB of ram and CPU cycles for nothing... a simple batch should do it. If you want an easy and fast way to unpack, sort and rename 20 movies you've just finished downloading and clean up all the split mess, there's nothing like a batch job! :) True, cmd is not like a unix shell, but then again, not all of us need Linux! @17

Service/memory management… if you don’t use for ex. VMWare all day you don’t need to keep 5 services and 2 support apps running that will eat 60 MB of ram and CPU cycles for nothing… a simple batch should do it.

If you want an easy and fast way to unpack, sort and rename 20 movies you’ve just finished downloading and clean up all the split mess, there’s nothing like a batch job! :)

True, cmd is not like a unix shell, but then again, not all of us need Linux!
