w00t w00t. I’ve been waiting quite a while for this rls. It was previously available as p2p RIP, but now Scene group MFN supplys us with this retail rip \o/. My favorite song on this disc is definitely “Cemetary Gates”, be sure to check it out!
Power Quest was conceived in March 2001 by keyboardist Steve Williams, who had recently departed London power metal band DragonHeart (later called DragonForce). Steve Scott (another former DragonHeart member) was approached regarding bass duties. Steve was keen to work with his former colleague and accepted the offer.

Tracks 1, 4, 5, and 7 are really really catchy. This whole album is worth downloading and listening to if you’re into this sorta music. Highly recommended. Had the album for a few weeks now and I’m loving every second of it.

Havent heard this particular album but i know that Pantera had a song called Cemetary Gates on their Cowboys From Hell album. Hope this is a remake and not a rip off. DIMEBAG DARRELL R.I.P.
I love power quest, they are absolutely incredible. I have had this for quite a few weeks now, its great.
I urge metal fans to listen, power metal fans its pretty obvious you should be listening to this

Never heard of this band before.
Sounds pretty much ok, nothing remarkable though.
Singer is much better than “ZP” in DF, but this band lacks serious guitar “heroism”. Power Metal without super fast and super talented guitarists doesn’t interest me too much.
Good for background music, and they have some 80’s feel in their sh*t (guess that’s a plus).
Track 6 - The Vigil was pretty good song and that Megadeth cover was brilliant (never imagined band like this would cover Megadeth, awesome).
why is it, that only music of this scene gets any mention on rlslog? i don’t have nice long pantene hair like the obviously hetero dudes in the picture, should i still give this a listen?

Great band and an awaited album. Sadly it was released by the mfn guys, a well know reencoded group. (just check the last WASP album).
Im stick with the p2p release this time and I recommmend you guys do the same.

This is absolute crap metal. I seriously cannot believe there are bands out there still like this or that even have a fan base. All this is a bunch of babies that suck at playing crying out crappy 80’s ballads. The only band that could ever get away with high-pitched singing was Maiden and nobody else can come close to thier level of perfection. Anyways this sux but its cool cuz I’m going to see BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME at the meridian tonight where its cheap to to get trashed on your favorite you call-its HELLS YEAH!!!!

Not a bad album, but the guitar sounds a bit tacky in cemetary gates (in other songs aswell, but it works in those)
Biggest complaint, although good for power metal its distinctly lacking in the “power” department, if they injected jsut a little bit more energy into the songs it would be a must have for this year (for me at least)
Wings of forever is a much better example of there work, but i wouldnt have searched that out if not for this post so yeah
