Holy crap! New movie by well known & “renowned” german director Uwe Boll by making - popular game hits into movie shits. This time is Postal… And as i can see - 3.5 score on IMDb… Amazing how this guy after almost every bad movie he directed continues making a low rated movies. That must be some serious talent. Ok, if you’re interested - watch it, otherwise pass it if you don’t want to waste 100 min of your life. I’ll quote comment from DVD cover “Disgusting. Offensive. Stupid”. Seriously? :mrgreen:

Plot: Postal, the irreverent and outrageous film based on the popular video game. After a clueless slacker named the Postal Dude loses his job, he joins his shady Uncle Dave and a bevy of big-breasted, scantily-clad female cult followers in a scheme to steal a shipment of hot new toys. But first they must foil a band of ruthless terrorists - led by none other than Osama Bin Laden - and save the world from destruction in this offensive, mayhem-ridden laugh riot that threatens the very limits of common decency.

    THIS IS THE BEST UWE BOLL MOVIE EVER. don’t even think about that this is an uwe boll flick. this one is one of my favorite movies.

    the imdb rating is crap. please remove this imdb rating crap from this post - i think to be fair, people need to watch this movie. it isn’t “just another crappy boll flick” it’s postal. it’s awesome :D

    Why would the guys who made the Postal games let Uwe Boll make the movie? Yuck! And wtf is up with Verne Troyer replacing Gary Coleman? Did Gary decide to stay at his security guard job at the mall rather than star in a Uwe Boll film? Good call Gary….good call. This could very well end the career of every actor in it and old GC’s had enough tough breaks IMO. I can’t believe they were able to get David Foley and Zack Ward, are they really that desperate….I guess Zack really hasn’t done a whole lot since Titus but David Foley has no excuse as far as I’m concerned. I really liked the games…maybe this won’t be as bad as every other Uwe Boll movie.

    This movie was hilarious as hell. It begins to be really funny middle, after the whole plot is unveiled.

    There’s still the uncut 130min version to hit the scene, and possibly a 720P rip of it.

    Incredible Uwe Boll movie. I honestly think he’s under rated. He only makes movies to amuse himself, with his millions and millions of dollars. He doesn’t care about the general public/ critics, as long as Uwe enjoyed his own movie, he will release it.

    Duh

    Boll is able to acquire funding thanks to German tax laws that reward investments in film. The law allows investors in German-owned films to write off 100% of their investment as a tax deduction; it also allows them to invest borrowed money and write off any fees associated with the loan. The investor is then only required to pay taxes on the profits made by the movie; if the movie loses money, the investor gets a tax writeoff.

    “Maybe you know it but it’s not so easy to finance movies in total. And the reason I am able to do these kind of movies is I have a tax shelter fund in Germany, and if you invest in a movie in Germany you get basically fifty percent back from the Government.”

    I have hated every Uwe Boll movie, but watched since i love craptastic cinema. Postal was however great. The first two minutes of the movie are the meanest EVER! Not even South Park can beat that on their best days.

    I gave up at the scene where it panned over the perfectly arranged pile of kids bodies after the doll heist. Maybe, I don’t get Ewe Boll. I am thankful if that’s the case. I like crude/vulgar humor and sheer stupidity if it’s done right. But, Boll will never be a Kevin Smith, Mike Judge or a Farrelly. And this is considered by many as Boll’s “under-rated masterpiece.” LOL! Now that’s funny!

    this movie was a blast. some of the bits were just hilarious! i’ll be watching this more than once.

    well done master boll.

    my only complaint was that more people weren’t lit on fire. that was one of my favorite things to do in the real game.

    oh, i would like to have seen more cats used and silencers!
