Post music, win 3 Rapidshare premium accounts!
Our Music section is not really active lately so I thought about a small competition for all our readers. The rules are really simple: make as many posts about new music scene releases as possible in next 3 days (you can pick any music genre you like) and win one of three Rapidshare premium accounts. This account will enable you to download from Rapidshare.com without any time or traffic limits for one month.
The rules about these posts are quite strict: only real scene releases are allowed and you must follow the template/pattern we use for our music posts, which means that 1st paragraph should contain your comment about the release, 2nd paragraph covers short info about the album and 3rd optional paragraph contains a summary about the band / music artist. You can easily find the text for latter two with Google or on sites like Amazon and Wikipedia. Then you have to include the tracklist and release details from the NFO. Finally a full release name and links to homepage, wikipedia and eventually a torrent or rapidshare. You should also add image of the CD and the artist (Image Search at Google is a great helper). This may look little complicated, but if you take a look at few of our music posts, it will be pretty obvious to you.
As I wrote, the competition will run for 3 days till Sunday, May 11, 24:00 GMT. We will count only proper posts. Incomplete posts or those about non scene releases will be neither published nor counted to your stats. The 3 users with most posts after 3 days will immediatelly receive their new Rapidshare account. If you want to participate in this contest, just send an email to “rlslogcontest at gmail.com” and we will mail you back with more instructions (where to send your posts). According to our experience, one post shouldn’t take you longer than 5-10 minutes. Let the best contributor win!

Martin, you should add a “No Dupe” clause to the rules…otherwise you could see 500 posts about the same thing idk, just a thought.

The music section is somewhat wide though. There are thousands of artists. I kidda like the fact that there isn’t much music on rlslog. I think people primary come here for DVD-SCR, R5 and DVD-RIPs…

25gb in 5 days was a limit that i had never thought would bother me. I didn’t know about it until i tried to download all of the series of ER and that went in about half a day. also, if you try and download a few HDrips you are in trouble. regardless, rapidshare is great and I dont mind paying, especially as this month, i have collected enough points to earn myself a free account!
Far too much good music goes by that doesnt have a scene release so why not surprise yourself and let us decide what goes up

The thing is,This look an bit tricky to do,I use torrent client, I got acess to tons of scene releases for music..

I don’t think the music section needs to expand. There are other and better ways to get your music fix, private trackers like Waffles.fm or What.cd or music blogs are way better than some random music posts on rlslog.net. Besides, I already can see flame wars and spamming the comments section once a “commercial” album is posted.

I like the idea of more music posts, a lot of the music posted really isn’t what I’m interested in. But, I have to say a lot of the best leaks and retails aren’t posted as SCENE releases, but rather whoever had first access to the CD, which normally isn’t a member of the SCENE. For example, this last week.

Both are by 10+ year old bands and are by all means well known, but neither has had a SCENE release yet, nor have you at RLSLOG posted either. I sort of wish you guys did P2P releases, in the cases they beat SCENE releases only, of course.

Traffic limits are always present on RS 5GB/day 25GB/Week and so 150GB/Month.
People forget RS!!! Go buy a Megashare account, it has no limits and you will pay 25$ for 6 months of premium!!!
