Poor Boys Game 2007 FESTiVAL DVDRip XviD-iNViCTA
Group iNViCTA released a limited festival drama Poor Boy’s Game in the final dvdrip. This Canadian movie is a combination of Rocky and Cinderella Man – yeah, it’s about boxing. Don’t expect too much because of limited budget and not too emphatic acting, but it’s a nice story with Danny Glover in the main role. Released as standard 1 CD rip, but nuked for mono audio.
Donnie Rose (Rossif Sutherland) went to prison for beating a young man so brutally it left him handicapped for life. Nine years later, Donnie is out. He’s a different man with only one place to go: back home to the same violent and racist neighbourhood that created him. At the other end of town, the black community still wants revenge. The instrument of justice will be Ossie Paris (Flex Alexander), a devastatingly talented boxer who challenges Donnie to a match; a match Donnie’s family and peers won’t let him refuse. George Carvery (Danny Glover) has waited nine years to avenge his son’s fate at the hands of Donnie. When finally they meet face to face, however, both realise they share a similar desire to overcome the past.

A-Drive is the way to go! you can sign up to share files with fake info, get 50GB per acct… also, there seems to be noone monitoring traffic per file, cuz every link i’ve seen is still there after months. no splitting up into multiple RARs, and NO bandwidth limitations, time restrictions, all that other BS – I can DL a 700mb movie in 25 mins (every kbps of bandwidth I have, and then some)

Danny Glover gets much flack these days but he is one of the most talented black actors out there alongside Morgan Freeman. Mel Gibson rid on his coat tails during the 80s, and should have continued to do so instead of becoming a drunken wash-out. For a good example of Danny Clover’s latest sterling performance, rent out SHOOTER (starring Mark Wahlberg). And of course, POOR BOY’S GAME.

A must watch movie!!!! I seldom give comments here but this one deserves 10 out of 10 for its humanity content.
It’s a story about racial hatred, pain, remorse, acceptance, forgiveness, and above all,….finding your true self!!!
This movie’s audio is in monophonic….
This may be the reason for the re-rip..
I dunno….
I watched this, and was surprised to find it a good flick..
now to look for that rerip… Hopefully the sound will be better… If not, then I guess I’ll be awaiting retail……
