Pixelmator v1.1.3 Mac OSX-Lz0

Something new for Mac users here. If you are not so good with Photoshop, try this one easy to use but also powerful picture editor.

Description:

Pixelmator, the beautifully designed, easy-to-use, fast and powerful image editor for Mac OS X has everything you need to create, edit and enhance your images.

The Photo Browser palette in Pixelmator offers quick access to your iPhoto Library, events, albums, Smart Albums and pictures in your Pictures folder. Best of all, just drag-and-drop any of those images as layers to your Pixelmator composition.

Another good reason Pixelmator is a must-have for any Mac user is Pixelmator’s Quick Look plug-in, which makes it possible to quickly view almost any of the 100 image file formats supported by Pixelmator without having to launch an image editor. The Pixelmator’s Quick Look plug-in is a gorgeous enhancement to both Pixelmator and even Mac OS X itself.

Pixelmator is based on Core Image technology that uses your Mac’s video card for image processing. Core Image utilizes the graphics card for image processing operations, freeing the CPU for other tasks. And if you have a high-performance card with increased video memory (VRAM), you’ll find real-time responsiveness across a wide variety of Pixelmator operations. Pixelmator is blistering-fast on the latest PowerPC and all Intel-based Mac’s.

More applications for people with REAL computers (not windows constant crashing apps). I really like to read windows users making fun of mac users. It is the same as having people with cheap massively produced family saloon cars making fun of a handmade Ferrari! Envy kills…

Hello, I am a Mac User, this is a forum that includes intelligent pirates in the illicit industry of computer software trading. Happens to be the Leopard OS X can be hacked to run on any Windose PC. I have been using OS X for a while and I find it utterly better then the Windose OS. Also the coolest thing about Linux is Beryl, but beryl still is not a tradeoff to the intelligent UI of Leopard. I recommend OS X as a primary OS, I have to say you all need a hackintosh. Guide is at forum.insanelymac.com, get iatkos or kalyways (zephyroth for AMD computers) OS X immediately from the bay. You will not regret it. Oh, remember to backup in case you screw up your installation.

    March 8th, 2008 | 22:02

@28. I couldn’t care less what OS you run on your computer. Why do you care what others do, and why do you feel the need to insult them. If you’ve got personal issues, do us all a favour and don’t use this site to vent them.

  32. Cim
    March 8th, 2008 | 22:35

    @31
He’s actually not insulting anyone… he’s just stating that the vast majority of people probably don’t care all that much about Mac applications.

  33. Grammer Nazi
    March 8th, 2008 | 22:37

It should be “Macs” not “Mac’s”.

  34. golfpro
    March 8th, 2008 | 22:49

@32: Based upon this thread many apparently do. I think it was also ‘probably’ meant in a derogatory way.

I agree, it seems that Window’s users just commented on this because it’s cool to rip OS X. Quite frankly if any Windows user used OS X for a week and had the cash to get a mac, they would. And with all this talk of hackintosh, that clearly say’s that Windows user want to be able to use OSX.

  36. drgnx
    March 9th, 2008 | 08:07

Agreed with #35 to a point, after using hackintosh for a few days before I bored (mainly cause of lack of driver support not allowing the better programs to work ), I’ve concluded that it is not that bad, it is not that great either, but then neither is Vista.

One thing I should dispute, “and had the cash to get a mac,”
For the most part I’m just going to /face_palm

Arguing about Mac vs PC is pointless as they are made by the same manufacturers in Taiwan as Dell, Hp, sony, ect… with pretty same hardware you can buy for cheaper put together yourself (for desktops at least).

  37. drgnx
    March 9th, 2008 | 08:11

    sorry it’s late
    typos
line 1: before I “got” bored
    &
line 8: pretty “much the” same hardware

I use Windows and I only started reading the comments to see if anyone else thought the girl in the picture looked like Hilary Duff.

Anyway, not that I’m a huge fan of Windows, but you have to admit that the software support, especially in the area of games blows the Mac away.

True story: There was a user in one of the newsgroups I follow who was alays putting down Windows and saying how he couldn’t wait to get a Mac. He finally did and got rid of his Windows box. Then after about a week he was back saying how he couldn’t find good Mac equivalents of even half the programs he used to use daily under Windows. He ended up using all the same old Windows programs under whatever that software is that lets you run Windows apps under the Mac OS. So for all his complaining about Windows and praising of the Mac, he basically ended up using it as a Windows emulation machine.

First I want to thank rslong.net for the MAC app. post. Thanks. Second. Macs are the fastest most reliable computers made to this day; anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. I use them with my AVID systems and have yet in the last 4 years or so to see them crash. While my partners using “top of the line” PC computers, experience crashes at least once or twice a week. As far as viruses go; I don’t get them. The last PC I owned (a Falcon Northwest) drove me so f’in crazy all the time; that it now resides in my basement playing hold music for my phone system. Of course their one downfall is their extremely high prices; then again you get what you pay for. PC’s are great gaming computers, but also a hackers best friend. : )

@yeah and when something mac is posted it seems like they come out of the woodwork

Why would we (Mac users) come out of the woodwork when PC software is posted? or would even mention it in comments for a movie or music release? I really want you to explain this one please….

Please think before you speak. Now run along son!

Please make a separate Mac section so we don’t have to look at this junk.

We are forced to suffer the constant Mac adverts on television, movies, magazines. We don’t want to view the Mac crap here either.
