Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End-ViTALiTY

Another Pirate game has been released by the group ViTALiTY today and it is the inevitable tie in game for the movie Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End that will be released on May 24th. The game follows the storyline of all 3 of the movies and also includes some mini games such as Texas Hold’em. You get to play as all of the main cast and get to create your own pirate as well. Even though most tie in games are usually rubbish this one looks promosing but then again this is the PC version so its a console post so dont be surprised by wierd controls and loads of extra bugs.

Note: ViTALiTY and HATRED are at it again with HATRED propering this release, however the nukers are having a bit of a disagreement themsleves and can’t decide if this is a needed proper or HATRED just being bad losers. ViTALiTY have released an extra NFO claiming that this release is fine.

Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is inspired by the events, environments and characters surrounding the second and third installments of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Players must demonstrate their cunning, swashbuckling creativity and swordsmanship as they encounter all manner of crazed pirates and cursed creatures in treacherous, exotic locations. Play as the eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann to prevent Jack’s dark past from catching up with him.

Live and die by the sword! Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End is inspired by the events, environments and characters of both the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest films. Players must demonstrate their bravery and swordsmanship as they encounter all manner of crazed pirates and cursed creatures in treacherous, exotic locations. Play as Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann to prevent Jack’s dark past from catching up with him.

    May 17th, 2007 | 07:08

Well, according to the system requirements there, an ati 9250 256mb should be more than enough to run the game. Although that card is kind of in the low end, and don’t know if you can set your graphics to the high end of this game.

  17. May 17th, 2007 | 07:51

Doesnt releasiung the game before the movie kind of defeat the purpose? Playing the game is like watching the movie right?

  18. VGA
    May 17th, 2007 | 10:18

No, playing this game isn’t like watching the movie, it’s like sticking a fork in your eye.

    DON’T DO IT !!!

Oki, this game looks great on the 360 and PS3, but the PC version is the same as the PSP version for Chrissakes. It’s awful. Don’t think that this is as good as the 360 demo you played.

    Avoid this like the plague.

(In other news, this works fine and would probably work on a 286)

    Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem:
When I unpacked the files with Winrar and mounted the .iso file to a new drive with Daemon, it kept on saying that the disc was not correct. I tried installing first, then mounting it, and I also tried mounting it first, then installing. It said that the installation process was completed successfully.. So, anyone else having this problem?
