Got good news and bad new for you guys, the good new is that ARROW has released the DVDRip of Pineapple Express. But the bad news is this is the rated version :( so there might not be a few extra minutes.

There were two DVDSCR out, the first one was pretty bad, but it got better with the HEFTY release. Wow what can i say, the movie was great, a comedy you see often once or twice every year. What really made this great was the cast, James Franco was awesome in it and as usual, Seth Rogen too. Enjoy!

Lazy court-process clerk and stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city’s most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him–and it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia: incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both.     I don’t know why people complain about 700mb releases. They look fine on my big screen TV (1080p Sony model). I stream to it from the pc either though my Xbox360 or PS3 (both via HDMI) and in both cases they look just fine. Yeah, not as good perhaps as an upscaled retail DVD or a Blu-Ray, but let’s not look a gift horse in the mouth.

    700MB is fine for drama/comedy type movies. Not much in the way of action or detailed special fx to chew up bitrate and it’s not like the sound design will go to town in a film like this so mp3 is perfectly fine. Leave the 1.3Gb rips for megabudget flicks.

    With the mumbai attacks happening. I bet the last terriost in the Taj Mahal Hotel is an avid reader of Rlslog. Wondering why they didn’t take in sniper rifles to do it? With the hight and the many floors would of made it more for a movie bollywood storyline when the movie on this comes out.

    If someone has managed to get a DVDrip of this does that mean that a store is breaking the street date for the DVD?
