Peter Kay Stand Up Ukay 2007 PROPER DVDRip XviD-VoMiT
VoMiT (well known for their low budget horror releases ) bring us a comedy this time. A DVDRip of all Peter Kay’s best moments. I personally haven’t heard of this comedian but I guess you have. I’ll wait for comments and see if I should get it 
It’s hard to remember a comedian that’s enjoyed anything like the far-reaching success of Peter Kay in recent years. A best-selling autobiography, writing and directing hit television shows, and a comedy tour that broke records are just some of his achievements, and there’s a strong flavour of what makes him so popular on Stand Up Ukay.
The is effectively a greatest hits collection of his stand-up comedy routines, apparently chosen by the British public. So therefore Stand Up Ukay brings together some hilarious work: Hob Nobs in the your tea, how people dance at weddings and the infamous garlic bread are examples of some of the material here. It is then rounded out with the music video to “I’m Gonna Be” (500 Miles).
Without doubt, Stand Up Ukay is packed with laughs, but conversely, there’s little getting away from the fact that it’s full of material that the majority will have seen and enjoyed before.
Still, if you’ve missed out what all the fuss about, then Stand Up Ukay is an excellent starting point. Everyone else is best being a little more cautious.

Peter Kay’s TV show ‘Pheonix Nights’ is very funny but his stnad up isnt that great, unless you come from the north of England.

Like him or not you can’t deny he’s the most succesfull comedian of the last decade.
im from the north of england and find he repeats to many bloody jokes its just not funny for a legend in comedy look for jimmy carr spot on comedian!

Yeah, he’s really starting to do my head in now, he hasn’t came up with any new material in about three years. First he releases his live show dvd, the next Christmas he releases a dvd of the same show, just a different night on the tour. Now he releases a best of dvd so we can watch it again. His stock is seriously declining.
Have to agree with the last few posts kay is a naturally funny guy and as far as his stand up goes much more of a class act than gervais albeit old school and as far as the north south divide goes thats just immature bollox. If your’e american the accent and reference points may go by you but a lot of american comedians do that for me. However I echo the previous posts he hasn’t toured or released any new material in years and all the material on this dvd has been flogged to death via channel 4 and his previous dvd’s. You can almost hear him and the cronies who released this counting their cash and laughing down their sleeves. If you want an intro to kays style of comedy download this for free and shame him into writing some new material. The new gervais dvd ‘fame’ is much better value for money, all new material and a good watch to boot.

Is that because it is cheaper than this one, so therefore a more affordable doorstop? I like Peter Kay but have to say that this is a ripoff. But put him on a stage in front of a stadium and he would be able to adlib for five minutes without hesitation, unlike a certain Gervais.

If you read my post I make the point that kay is a much more naturally talented stand up than gervais, but this dvd is blatantly milking the cash cow and I just point out that the gervais dvd is a good watch and better value for money having watched it myself, theres probably a lot of other comedy releases this xmas that are equally as good (recommendations appreciated)

I saw peter kay live on the ‘bungalow…’ tour I’ve also seen various filmed versions of the same tour. It was the same every night pretty much word for word fake adlibs included the only noticeable difference is that it got more slick towards the end of the tour.

Got this a while back, its soo funny, you can relate to every joke he tells, which makes him a great comedian, you have to be British to understand.
