I played this game weeks ago, and I’m a die hard point & click fan. This game looks good but the puzzles are not very logical… at all. Bugs litter the game i.e, after completing a task nothing triggers to proceed in the game.
Also ontop of that the camera angles make the game seem longer (while pixel hunting), and non of the task are logical.
We’re starved for P&C

If you don’t usually play adventure games I’d say this game offers a great opportunity to try something new. There’s quite a few people that got stuck at the beginning (myself included) so basically, If you can’t be bothered looking at the official forum for help whenever you get stuck then you won’t like this game at all.
Overall it’s still a good game.
Best point & click I’ve EVER played is still blade runner.

It says alot when your not even slightly interested in finishing the game. In the end I couldn’t care less about the characters and even less about the story line.
Its a poor effort, but o.k if your starved for sci-fi point & clicks.

As of right now there is no war for me to play the game untill a proper way to bypass the key code screen is found.The game is unplayable untill its activated online by atari.
I am confidant that some person in the scene will find a way to make a keygen or crack or something to be able to play it.

I agree with you the puzzles are not logical and the camera angles are pretty bad. The sci-fi aspect is pretty much all this game has to offer and even that part is nothing special.
I guess I should have mentionned that I didn’t finish the game too. I’ll probably try it again with the new razor1911 crack at some point but that’s if it doesn’t end up in the recycle bin first.

to the .exe and make a perma patch that didn’t need cheatengine.

just tested out the razor-1911 crack, and can confirm that it doesn’t work.
when i execute the file nothing happens, the games doesnt even run.
LOL this is going to get real funny. the new razor crack decompressed to be around 1.23mb big. much smaller than vitalitys crack which is just over 4mb decompressed.

Downloaded and played this before and I wouldn’t recommend to get this because it’s not the final version, more like a beta and it does crash at times and also has some plot impasses. On the official forums they clearly stated that thus is the result of using an earlier beta.
oh and, this can be only noticed after 2/3 of the actual game so when you find out you already are deep within and can’t play it anymore after that, what really sux.

so much talk, but the first release( the one that vitality stole the crack)works very well, i don’t now if this release is different of the first one, but i think is the same game, and th same crack, so wath is the problem?
flongas, did you play ViTALiTY’s release on Vista or XP? It was reported that ViTALiTY’s release crashes on Vista.
I read Razor1911’s NFO, and it’s all explained there: Razor1911 released the GERMAN version of the game, not the English version, under the name of Red Herring. Someone took the crack from that version and released it with the English version, even though the crack was made for the German version. It was done without Razor1911’s permission. Of course, this false release got nuked, and then ViTALiTY released their so-called proper, which contained a cracked EXE for the English version, while claiming that Red Herring’s crack was the EXE from the German download version or something (when in fact it was simply the crack for the German version). Then reports came in that ViTALiTY’s crack causes crashes on Vista, and to get past the crash points you had to use Red Herring’s crack, pass the crash point, and then continue using ViTALiTY’s crack until the next crash point. On XP it was reported that this crack works fine. Now Razor1911 claims that ViTALiTY ripped the cracking code from their German cracked EXE, placed it in the English EXE and released it as their own crack (this is the stealing part). But, they didn’t do it properly, so their (ViTALiTY’s) crack caused all these crashes. So now Razor1911 released their own cracked EXE for the English version, which should work perfectly (although nothing specific was said about Vista).
If all this is true, ViTALiTY’s release deserves a nuke, not only because they stole the crack from Razor1911, but also since they didn’t do it properly and it causes crashes.
I’d still like to get a confirmation from a Vista user that played long enough into the game using Razor1911’s new crack, that indeed it doesn’t crash like ViTALiTY’s crack…

I didn’t have any problems with Vitality’s crack. Played through the entire game, not one error. So in fact if they hadn’t “stealed” it we’d still be waiting to play it for no good reason.

Right, it was reported that it only crashes on Vista. I’m still hoping for people to report that Razor1911’s crack is indeed “Vista-friendly” before I download it.
…note that Razor1911’s NFO says that ViTALiTY’s crack can cause a crash anytime and anywhere, although reports say it happens only on Vista and only in specific locations in the game (I think).

Red Herring’s crack DOES work, it’s just for the German version of the game and not for the English version. And yet if you use it with the English version it will not cause crashes, unlike ViTALiTY’s crack. Go see the comments for the ViTALiTY release here on RLSLOG, you’ll see that people use Red Herring’s crack to get past the crash points that ViTALiTY’s crack causes.
These are all facts, but in addition it was claimed that ViTALiTY’s crack is made up of ripped code from the German crack (Red Herring), and they didn’t fit it well in the English EXE so that’s why it crashes. Razor1911’s English crack supposed to be correct and shouldn’t cause any problems, since they’re the ones that made the original crash-free Red Herring crack, or so they claim.
I’m still hoping for confirmation that the new Razor1911 crack indeed doesn’t crash on Vista, as opposed to ViTALiTY’s crack.

People who post these releases need to be able to write better English. I can understand how in a forum or comment section that mistakes should be forgiven but when it comes to posting on the main page it shouldn’t be allowed.

i have felt that way way for a while now and you put it exactly right. people really need to get a better sense of self if judging someone’s spelling errors makes them feel better about themselves in any way.

Seems fair if the crack was programed by razor its lame to release it in your own pack with out shouts. and to everyone who whats to know if this game is worth it, YES this game is really awesome if you enjoy the genre.
razor crack crashes the game 3 quarters of the way in. running on vista x64.
vitality crack has no crashes on vista 64bit.
not sure about how it is on vista 32bit since i dont have that os installed to test.
sandy, is that a permanent crash or it’s random and if you try again you get past it? And if it IS permanent, did you try to get over it using Red Herring’s German crack?
