CRAP Who here can tell me What program I need to convert HD/blueray to AVI or DVD. I dont have anything but NERO or VSO. Help me I am lost and I need to adapt or Die!!!!!

you must have been using a public tracker if it took you that long to download a 3.6GB torrent. private trackers regularly get up to 2Mbit/sec dowload speed.

Surely if this movie was 1080p then it would need to be a resolution of 1920×1080. As the quoted resolution is 1920×800 then its only slightly better than 720p but stretched a bit wider.

Sure the source could of been 1080p but I doubt that a 6gb movie has that kind of quality.

@29. Depends how badly you want it. It’s a free world right? I’ve got 30Mb cable and it took 30 hours to get a 3.6GB file with a favorable seed/peer ratio with about 70 seeds. Good Luck.

kasuza, you’ve lost it man. This reminds me of those dumb TV shows where some fabulous piece of software “enhances” some CCTV image to make the content totally recognizable. It just ain’t gonna happen bro. Suppose you start with 2 pixels; how are you going to turn that into hi-def? Use your brain; you can’t make more pixels our of less. Sheesh!

@17 I downloaded Natural Born Killers’ director’s cut version with alternate endings with its 9gigs (standard dvd). Of course something is wrong with me, because I did this with my 1Mb net :p

You silly person. You can not transcode an avi that is not already 1080p up to 1080p. You can upconvert the avi to 1080p but it will never look as good as an origianl 1080p source because it didnt start out that way.

I did some research. I was converted “Transformer: The movie” from avi to 1080p 4096kbps by using PS3 9. The quality is not as good as true Blu-Ray. I used different methods and softwares but never come out as good as Blu-Ray 1080p

How do i convert AVI to Blu-Ray 1080p? I want to convert couple movies from AVI to Blu-Ray 1080p such as Transformer because it’s not going to be release on Blu-Ray, only HD-DVD. I hope rlslog are going to do it.
