This movie has been posted here in its R5 and DVDRip versions already, but this time well-known group DoNE releases a PROPER that’s meant to fix bad crop and pixelation. The movie looks interesting with a high IMDB score and a promising cast. Quality is normal 1 CD. High video bitrate and MP3 audio.

Synopsis: Like Tim Burton’s EDWARD SCISSORHANDS and the TV show PUSHING DAISIES, PENELOPE is a modern fairy tale, complete with candy colors and whimsical cinematography. PENELOPE begins with a generations-old curse by a jilted lover: the next girl in the aristocratic Wilhern family will be born with a pig’s snout and ears. Though ages pass, the bad luck finally manifests itself in young Penelope (Christina Ricci) much to the shame of her mother (Christopher Guest favorite Catherine O’Hara). In an effort to break the curse, her mother and father (Richard E. Grant, WITHNAIL AND I) try to bring in a series of blue-blooded suitors.

    yep, the arisco release is 103mins, but awful video quality.

    This release is nice and clear video but only 85mins. :/

    I’m waiting for a a Real.Proper - full length with decent video.

    My GF made me watch this with her. It was one of those films where at the ending you’re thinking …. ‘’so???”. Felt pointless.

    @6 I got this back then 2, don’t think it was a true DVDRip. @21Fat– I Haven’t seen it and probably never will, but downloaded it for the kids while the A-Dotes play poker. I feel your pain 21, but your in minimum security jail out in a few, I’m a lifer w/ no parole!! Thx RlsLog
