My wife and I saw Peaceful Warrior when they distributed the free passes. It is a very thoughtful, compelling film. So much so that I do want to see it again. Good performances and script. It’s not an action film, so pass on it if that’s what you need to enjoy fine cinema.

The book was soo good, if you haven’t read it, then you need to..
I assume that this movie will be well made, considering Nick Nolte decided to star in it, him being extremely picky in his acting career.

Well, what i read here is a lot of people afraid of other people’s thoughts. And many entirely arguing faaaaaar beside the point. Get a life out there. C’mon. You can do it. I mean, On1n3, ausfatcat, Leff and others. Dudes, what’s going on?? Bad food? Bad girl- or ex-boyfriends?? Bad karma?

Btw: Been wating for that movie ever since it screened and as i read the book years ago and have thought of it highly ever since, it can’t be all that bad. not with Nolte on board I’d think.

As for prejudice, all you bible loving one’s go out there and reread Matthew VII. All others go shove your foot – or feet for i couldn’t care less – up your worldwide asses. And that spells i-don’t-care-wherefrom-thou-art.

As for the openminded one’s (i personally wouldn’t and coudn’t recommend any specific preachings/teachings/…) thank’s for staying onboard against all commercially and otherwise indoctrined poor suckers.

Meh, i glimsed through the movie to see how it was. Not really impressive I must say. It is inspiring, but so many free passes…uuhh…they were even passing them out at work at worst buy.

When I discovered imdb, I was thinking that it would be (concerning rating) totally american biased. But with time I revized my opinion. I do look everytime now to see what the mass think of everyfilm.

It isn’t like I agree with all there. Especially if you look at the top250, it is weird (IMO) to see Lord of the Rings 1,2 and 3 so highly ranked.
But even that, the top250 look totally decent.

Great IMDB rating and although otherwise said here a movie with 500 or more votes and a decent rating means something. And it means a hell of a lot more then me then biased rottentomatoes reviews who can burn a movie just for its topic. Good example movie is The Life of David Gale which was a marvelous movie but gets brought down by critics because of the political content.

Who would you trust? 1 professional film reviewer who rates a movie 2/10 or 20000 normal people who have had a free choice of voting. For The Life of David Gale is resulted in a imdb score of: 7.2/10 (19,035 votes)

Make you own conclusion, if more then 1000 people rate Peaceful Warrior on an average of 7/10 I’m sure it must be a decent film
