I don’t know if anyone here likes darting, but if you do STRANGE just released the perfect game for you guys: PDC World Championship Darts 2008 (PAL). It’s not region-free so if you’re from the USA and you want to play some darts on your Xbox 360, you are going to have to wait a little more time for this one. It should be released soon, though. PDC World Championship Darts on the Xbox 360 offers, for the first time, online multiplayer; a chance to play against another player in an Exhibition match. With features including leaderboards and vital statistics about your gameplay, you can really see who is the best out of your friends at darts.

This game was on the Wii before it came to the Xbox 360. This game does make sence if you knew that fact.

fifa09 yep have to agree, this darts game came out on pc aswell didnt like it that much though.
I honestly can’t see how this game is almost 7gigs when the graphic from the screen shot looks so bad. This game just seems like it is a spoof to me. A joke to me. Like if you downloaded this you will get something else.
And the two *cough* *cough* athletes on the cover definitely don’t make you say, “Hey I want this game”. Two ugly fat slobs.
This has gotta be the only sports game with fat guys on the cover.

I honestly cannot think of one reason why you want to play darts on a computer. Although I find games like bowling, hunting, etc also quite stupid I can understand they make a game out of it. Simply because it’s not that easy to do them in real life. You don’t have a bowling alley in your house and there’s probably no wild life running around in your back yard you can shoot. But darts? For the price of this game you can buy a real darts board, some arrows and probably still have money left for beer. So why the HELL would you play this on a pc with a controller. I’d like to know, really…

That’s a rather specific target demographic! I’d hate to pitch that in a sales meeting.
Seriously though, 7GBs worth of this? I think the influx of large capacity discs and high bandwidth may be causing some really lazy and bloated code. When the new Civ4 is under 1GB and this is around 7GB, something is wrong.
And for those whining about everyone making fun of this, no one really cares about it other than it’s funny, so relax.
