PC rips of Shrek and Pirates
It’s not that common to see rips of new pc games, but some titles still appear in these smaller, compressed packages which can save some space on your drive and also your bandwith. The reason why we can see less and less releases like this is quite obvious: it’s common to have drive with hundreds of gigabytes and internet connection with speed of few megabits. The rip scene rules were also pretty tough, there were strict size limits, which couldn’t contain the size of new games. All of these are reasons why people don’t download game rips too much, which obviously lead to decreasement of their amount in the scene. Anyway, here are two new rips of two latest games, both based on popular movies.
Shrek.the.Third.RIP-Unleashed
In Shrek the Third players adventure as Shrek and his friends to save Far Far Away in a hilariously twisted fairy tale from the movie and beyond. The game takes players on an epic journey through the worlds of Far Far Away after Prince Charming storms the city with an army of villains in order to seize the throne. Players are challenged to rescue pals, face off against Charming’s henchmen, gather collectibles, test their gaming skills in numerous boss fights and engage in various single-player and multiplayer mini-games.

i have never heard of a PC Rip…does that mean the quality of the game (textures etc.) will be lower as it would be the case with a DVD Rip; or is it just emtremely compressed like a .zip or .rar ?
I think PC rip is that it doesn’t needs to be installed to play .. you just run the exe and the game starts.
I have a bunch from 420dopeman (on tpb)
PC rip has a batch file that extract all the files, because the files are highly compressed, this proccess can take 15mn.
