Paycheck 2003 720p BluRay x264-BestHD

About half n hour ago BestHD released a new 720p rip of Paycheck. The movie is directed by John Woo and stars some pretty good actors. Paycheck is a 2003 film adaptation of the short story of the same name by science fiction writer Philip K. Dick.

Jennings is the best reverse-engineer in the business. He is hired by clients to take apart other companies technologies and find out how they work. He is hired to do a special job, against the advice of some of his associates. When the job is completed, all memory of what he has been working on is erased from his mind. That’s when his problem really start to begin. He is hunted for something he has no recollection of doing and has only a little time to work it out. He has sent himself 19 seemingly unconnected objects, before his memory was wiped, to allow him to put the puzzle together and discover just what has gone on and what he has done. But the authorities are after him and time is very quickly running out.

    This is a really good film. THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS NO SPOILERS: Ben Affleck plays a genius scientist who is really good at reverse-engineering. After each job, his memory is erased but he gets a goodly fee for his work. He is offered a job that will take some company's 3D display technology and turn it into vastly better interactive holograms. It will take two years, but the paycheck is so huge that he will be then able to retire very, very comfortably. He takes the job and when he "wakes up" two years later, he finds that he has apparently forfeited the money and sent himself 19 seemingly unconnected objects instead, and cannot remember why. And this is where the plot gets going.

    Watched this the other day, complete rubbish except for the John Woo action slomo sequences, of which there are 15-30 mins worth.

    Download, dont watch the film, just skip to the action. Rewind, and watch again. Then laugh.

    @20…laugh the film? Maybe. At you.. most definitely. With the exception of the time machine, everything else in that film is based on scientific fact. We actually Do have holograms that look like a real human. We actually DO have reverse engineering (how do you think that China is able to make so much stuff that was invented in other countries? So take your 2nd grade scientific knowledge and go pester the people in first grade as they actually may think you are intelligent, unlike the rest of us here.
