The kindest judge in American Idol, Paula Abdul, released her first single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow” in nearly 12 years. The single was produced by Randy Jackson, another judge in AI, and appears on his album Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1. Actually, I very much expect her upcoming album, which is said to be released this summer. All I know about her is that she is a successful musician, maybe a successful dancer as well. And this song does sound good to me. Group GML pred a proper version of the song’s MV, saying that previous MVHiTS’s release has interlaced frames.
In the video, the start shows Abdul and her dancers intertwined in complex poses. This then leads into scenes of her dancing and singing into a mic stand against a black backdrop with flowing red fabric. She is then seen singing with her band, with Randy Jackson on bass guitar. These scenes cut between Paula and her dancers performing routines and every so often graphics appear on the screen with a camera flash, framing the scene.

Paula Abdul’s just like Madonna. Both of them just won’t quit. They keep forgetting they’re older and saggy. At least Madonna has some bit of talent left (not sure what to say about her constant stripping-downs in her last 3 music videos, though). As for Paula Abdul, her voice in this doesn’t even sound like her! Too much tweaking in the studio, huh?

Paula is nothing like Madonna, Madonna is still setting records for money brought in from world wide tours and playing infront of over a million people in just a couple of months each time she tours. Abdul has done nothing in years other than barely stay sober enough to keep her head off of the desk on american idol. Madonna is still someone who is relevant in many ways. Madonna actually had an impact on society over the years Paula didn't.
