Pathfinder R5 LiNE XviD-UNiVERSAL
There hasn’t been a good R5 release for while but here’s something that should interest some of you. Its for the movie Pathfinder and its a massive jump in quality over the last Telesync released a couple of months ago. R5 release are second to only DVDRips and possibly some Screeners so the quality is really quite good. The audio is usually a sticking point for R5 releases because they have to inject the English sound and remove the original Russian dub (thats what LiNE means) and sometimes it goes out of sync. This release from group UNiVERSAL doesn’t appear to have any audio problems (at least from the sample) so it should be good for you to watch and enjoy! R5 means in simple terms * DVDRip Like Image Quality * (but this not include the sound that cann be or not from cam source or others source not so good). The sample looks good as expected from R5 source

Horrible movie I waited for months for it to come out, saw it in theaters and it was laughable. Wait until the “2 wolves inside every man” story you’ll see what I mean.

From what I know this is actually a DVD Rip with English audio added. So would this be a TC not a R5. ?
I’m assuming because the Russian DVDR is available, and that was probably the source.
@Outsidemywindow: What you are saying doesn’t make any sense. If the source is what they claim, ie. a Region 5 DVD9, it’s an R5. It can only be a TC if it’s made by someone unautherized to do so.
And no, the source was not the Russian DVDR, it was the Russian retail DVD. Saying DVDR makes it sound like you refer to a compressed DVD5 source, which according to the NFO is not the case.
I might have failed to answer your question in your last post incorrectly. It’s of cource an R5.LiNE but that still doesn’t make it a TC unless you follow the oldschool rules.
These are like basically rushed out DVDs. They arent as high quality as the final release since there has been no touching up done yet.
They release these in Russia to “attempt” to combat piracy. They are “Russian” retail and is Region 5.

the quality is good..some sound issues at the start with my dvd player..
This is surely watchable like the R5`s usually are..
ffs its free why do you all moan about sound quality etc .it takes 8 minutes to download from usenet and 2 seconds to bin it if you dont like it … personally i liked it..
TC is a direct Conversion from the film roll to a digital source.
And is not always good quality… depending on the quality of the machine they use to convert the TC. Some Scene TCs are bad because their machines werent that good.
TCs are not extremely common because it does cost quite alot of money.
Where as R5 doesnt cost as much.
So overall the differences between R5 and TC is just the cost. =P
i agree with the previous posters about this being a truly horrible movie. half the time during fight scenes i couldn’t even tell what was going on! poorest cutting & filming ever.
after watching the movie, i have to agree with those who dont like this movie…

Yes, they slaughtered many people in many different countrys, but so did many many other nationalitys against others, so that was normal during those times. Im glad they post at least something….slow scene days would make for a very boring site…to see tv shows games or a review of some new software when there are no new movies out is better than nothing…Keep up the good work RLSlog, keep it coming!

It one of the lesser better R5’s I’ve seen and one of the better crappy movies I’ve seen. The premise is interesting and something that could have been executed better. Take the bollocksed james bond snow chase scene.

I just watched this movie and enjoyed it also. I really don’t understand all the negative comments here about it. Sure, its not the best movie I have seen and I’m saying it should be everyone cup of tea. I’ll take a free movie of this caliber burned onto a 30 cent CD to watch it any day thank you.
The video quality and audio are 9/10. I give the movie a 7 out of 10.

but to be fair, it doesn’t suck horribly… it’s ok, just a few too many plot holes and really bad actors. overall it’s an OK-watch (some of the fight scenes are pretty entertaining and visually pleasing)…
i guess you can’t complain as long as you haven’t paid any money to go watch it. so pirate it and enjoy… if not, delete!

Quality of this release is good. The movie was so bad I stopped watching 1/2 way through and deleted it. Not even good enough to archive for later viewing. What sucks is the plot could have made for a good movie. This movie is a big Fail.
