Here’s the scene release for Paranormal Activity. I do read the end is different than the one in theatres right now. Can’t judge yet, going to see this one on Halloween(together with case 39 and saw 6)

After a young, middle class couple moves into a suburban ’starter’ tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

    The IMAGiNE release is said to have the “original” or “non theatrical” ending and the info in the post on this one says “do read the end is different than the one in theaters right now.” So apparently, both the IMAGiNE release and this release have the original and non theatrical ending.

    i wouldnt be worried about not seeing the theatrical ending.
    i saw the movie in theatres and it was an awesome experience but reading about this ending and the other one it seems we got cheated a bit.
    this ending should definately fit in better than the theatrical but it seems to be less scary but still creepy.
    if you are a dedicated fan and want to experience the movie 100% definately see it in theatres as others have said. Dont over hype the movie either… the less you know about it the better for sureeee.

    Problem with this movie. It tells you at the start that they both die, so I thought whats the point in that. Secondly, I watched for 47mins and got bored, and watched the rest the next night. Complete waste of time. Feel sorry for people who actually pay for this nonsense. Yes some parts are scarey, but anyone could do that. Awful ending, just felt I have had an hour and a half stolen, ugh.

    What you mean I am a moron, I did not spoil the movie. It says at the start that we show you this film as we have permission from the parents, which means they are dead, it says it in the first 10 secs, and when I said it was a waste of time, what did I give away, nothing just my opinion. It does have a unique quality, but that’s it. And that does not make it good. Mess around with a camera with a friend when you have nothing better to do, and voila.

    This version has an ending far different than the theatrical version. Either way it still sucks. I’m GLAD I didn’t waste my coins on this crappy movie. It wouldn’t make any difference had I seen this film in a theater. Nothing could have made re-hashed, made-for-TV, phony movie any better.
