Paranoid Park has previously been released in both a CAM version from group TBG and a R5 from group UNiVERSAL but finally the DVDRip has been released by AsiSter. The trailer of this film looks pretty interesting and the ratings on IMDB and RT alike are very good so this release should definitely be worth watching. Enjoy.

Quality: AsiSter have supplied a top notch DVDRip. Image looks perfectly clear and audio sounds great. 1011kb/s video bitrate and 2 channel 190kb/s audio all on 1 CD. English and Chinese subs are included.

A teenage skateboarders life begins to fray after he is involved in the accidental death of a security guard. Paranoid Park is a swooping skateboarding free zone where young men learn to fly. It’s also the title of Gus Van Santis most recent film, a haunting, voluptuously beautiful portrait of a teenage boy who, after being suddenly caught in midflight, falls to earth. Like most of Mr. Van Santís films “Paranoid Park” is about bodies at rest and in motion, and about longing, beauty, youth and death, and as such as much about the artist as his subject. It is a modestly scaled triumph without a false or wasted moment.

    This movie sounds horrible in text, and none of the names are familiar – but it was a great movie. Great example of letting cinematography tell the story.

    To a simpleton, this movie is boring, they miss that the messages told by the background music, lighting and other audio and visual effects.

    A very powerful movie that makes you think. I really enjoyed it.

    This movie is typical Van Sant. So if you didnt like elephant, you wont like this. I thought it was great, and as always Gus does a great job filming the world as it really is. Also as with Elephant, all the actors are NON actors, picked out of a small towns high school, and knowing this, they do a rather good job. If you like action or boobies or bombs or car chases or anything lame hollywood style, this movie is not for you. But if you like to think, and want to see how life is for kids today, watch this movie…

    final note – Gus Van Sants movies are about reality, and if you have a brain and watch closely, you will notice many things and messages he trys to get across on the screen. For example, he shows how parents dont give 2 fu*cks about their kids in todays brainwashed corporate media society, or how easy it is for kids to get guns and take out their angst on fellow classmates (elephant) . One of the best directors of all time..

    If you dont like this movie, try spiderman 3, or debbie does dallas, or something with guns and explosions and FAST CARS, homg…. Then take a prozac or ridlin and self reflect on how much of a douche sheep you are, lol… amen
