I must be honest: I’ve never heard ANYTHING about this anime, so I don’t know how the reviews are (or how the movie is). According to the IMDB-users the movie is really good: 7.8/10. Only 3900+ users voted, but hey; at least it’s a good rating. See for yourself

two things about this release:
1 -> this movie is a must for anime fans - nice story, nice storytelling and the animationn technique is somewhat different every now and then…
2 -> i cant understand why anyone would rip this as a 7,5gb rip - compared to a 2.5gb H264 rip, it is a total waste of 5gbs of bandwith because (as will almost all anime/cartoons) there is no noticeable quality improvenemt!
furthermore, this looks NOTHING like a 720p rip - any (well done) 700mb xvid could compare with this one, believe me
whats the point of making an animation in HD since there really isnt anyt extra detail put into it unlike what you see in games.
Great movie saw it a while back and loved it, it’s an instant anime classic

I agree that it is no use making a HD rip of an anime. The dvdrip is already on the net for ages. But it is a good way to introduce Satochi Kon to the community who I see have missed this great director.
Dig everything from the man. It is always awesome. “Paranoia Agent” changed my live. Believe me if you liked “Ghost in the Shell” then Paprika is a must see and way less complicated.
“Perfect Blue” was ok for me, also.
This movie’s probably the most amazing anime so far in so many ways. Mezmerizing visuals, enthralling music, and characters that makes you grin.
Worth it.
This is a great movie. In the same vein as Ghost in the Shell, and Akira. Art was done by Masashi Ando who is part of Studio Ghibli, whom created Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Tales from Earthsea. Give it a try!
It’s sad when an anime is being discussed and people who haven’t seen it or know nothing about it start saying it’s cartoon porn and tentacle rape.

oh, yeah, this one was buried for mainstream continental media and was given a very belated opening in the US, but thanks to the good ol` gone Demonoid i got a heed of it.
It is on par with Mononoke and Ghost in the shell, but WAY much more wild as in real imagination seeing wild. It is good that such productions manage to sneak below the radar and still get credit directly from the fans.
As for the screenshot, that is as much as you get from the anipr0n department, sorry!

If anyone is still reading this, do you know where I can find subs for the WPI version’s extras? The NFO for the Extras says that English subs are included, but there were none in the copy I downloaded from Usenet. I’ve checked every torrent I could find for the WPI version and none of them have subs for the extras, only for the movie itself. Without them, I have 700MB of extras that I can’t understand.
