Windows XP on Movies category?:)
Love that German battleship from above shot, whats that the Bismark? hehe
Could someone verify whether I need the original to play? I’m mainly interested in the co-op missions that only seem to appear in this expansion.
it’s a standalone game…you don’t need the original
German battlecruisers in the pacific? Three cheers for historic accuracy!
that picture of the bismark is just too awesome. speculation, the only way the axis could’ve won ww2 was if Japan had attacked into Siberia instead of Pearl Harbor. Russia would not have survived a 2 war front, US would have remained isolationist and with all of eurasia in their power…
yes i read it was standalone as well as its iso and i downloade d a rip version a while back i welcome standalone. gamespot confirms standalone version http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/pacificstormallies/news.html
E3 06: Pacific Storm: Allies First Look
We get a peek at an upcoming stand-alone expansion to the nearly released WWII strategy game.
PREVIEW – Posted May 12, 2006 12:16 pm PT
maldo and the english sheep shagger, baaa, the ship in the picture is not the Bismark, it’s the Tirpirz, which was bigger than the bismark, morons.
LOL. The Tirpitz is the sistership to the Bismarck; she was only a couple of metres and a few hundred tonnes more displacement than her older sister.
I am guessing this has little to do with the Pacific theatre and more a “what-if” kind of thing. C’mon, how much of a role did the Dutch navy play and why are they one of the six naval superpowers? The Italians or maybe the French…
Doenitz is just being a douchebag, sooo sorry I messed up the ship by naming it by its sister ship. Whatever, does not matter anyways as they both rest upon the ocean floor whereas most American battleships from the era are spread around the U.S. able to be viewed and toured. At least the great American & British battleships actually saw combat and fired shots in wartime, where the piece of shit Tirpitz NEVER once fired a shot in anger. Also Admiral Doenitz (the guys namesake) was an idiot anyhow, the German naval campaign was a disaster, but then again we know how that turned out.
I’ve turned everything up and still don’t see any gun flashes, explosions or water sprouts from the munitions, anybody has this problem or am I missing something?
Installing now, will let ya know Oaf.
This fucking game crashes my display driver (gf7600gt) so I am unable to play at this time. Going to go see what I can do to resolve it.
Ok got this working, I see gun flashes off my plane wings yes, but no water sprouts as far as I could tell.
This game is buggy as shit, and the graphics are really quite bad. I would suggest you save your bandwidth for something worthwhile.
3/10
Dont need the original game. The game have some crazy interface, but, if you like ships and planes, i think you can download it..
Maldo I got the same problem when i try to start it crashes back to desktop how did you fix it
this is the uk release. And because of the tages protection all efectes of the game are mising. A patch is underway and hopefully “Reloaded” will release a crack for the patch. otherwise we are pretty … Sorry for the bad news
Tactical game is ok, but strategic interface is horrible.
Messy, annoying to control and ugly.
Pretty stupidly some flags reveals ships and aircraftcount. It makes easy to assume where carriers are. Ai is stupid, Uk and US goes to war with each other and u can rip enemies, by selling empty, undeveloped bases.
From some idiotic reason air units keep attackin even they don t have ammo. Resulting total annihilation of entire air units.
Pity. Sid Mayer’s Pacific war was good strategy game. Still better than this.
Although the picture is supposed to be the Bismark, I can see where the confusion is as it is more similar to the Tripiz (the more elongated bow and extra platform on the bridge). However, i dont see the point in the argument seeings as they are both sisterships.
Also i would like to add that the there is no use slagging off the developers about the game, the bugs are entirely the English publishers fault because they changed the copy protection at the last minute screwing up the game. If you play the demo you will notice there are no problems, as the copy protection was not changed and all the effect are present (you can play the Hood vs Bismark mission, very enjoyable!). However the developers, ironically, are hard at work with a patch and as soon as its released you will all see the scope and potential of this game.
so i think you should all wait before you carry on slagging it off
Crack it´s working, but the Ships have no Gunsmoke, you see no Damage, and no Impact from Shells in to the Water.
is there another patch? because i cant see any effects from the ships or on the water. when does come another patch or another crack?
common the patch is released but i cant find any nocd for it. Has anyone found it yet?
you guys complain a lot for using a game you didn’t even pay for…..
gamecopyworld has crack for 1.4 uk patch
