Here’s how to download from Megashares;

Enter the code in the box and “activate” the passport. This will give you a download link. Send that link to a download manager, like GetRight and start downloading the file. When you hit 250MB, the download will stop. Make sure that you do NOT cancel the download, only stop it. Wait whatever amount of time it takes before your “passport” renews. When it does, go back to that page, enter the new code and activate it.

At this point, you will get a new link to the same file. If your download manager is intelligent enough, you may be able to send the link to it and it will see that it’s a file you’re already downloading and use the new URL. If not, you’ll need to manually copy the new URL, then go to the download manager, tell it you want to change the URL of the existing download, and then paste the new URL in place of the old one.

Resume the download for another 250MB. Repeat as necessary until you have the entire file.

Meagshares, like most hosting sites, identifies you by your IP address, so if you can change you IP (by disconnecting/ re-connecting your internet account, going through a proxy, etc) you can probably resume the download almost immediately.

Note that I typed the above from memory, so if I’ve made any mistakes, maybe someone else can correct me.
