Ozzy Osbourne - Black Rain (2007)

AMRC (Aggresive Music Ripping Crew) brings us a new album “Black Rain” from the well known Ozzy Osbourne. It’s almost been 6 years since he brought out “Down to Earth” and finally he’s released a new album…to be honest i didn’t think he would release any more albums but i’m proved wrong. I’m pretty sure many of Ozzy’s fans and music fans would check this release. Hope you enjoy this quality release!

The new Ozzy album, titled Black Rain, is currently set for release on May 22, 2007.There will be 11 all-new songs on the album, including “Countdown’s Begun”, “Not Going Away”, and “Lay Your World On Me”, about Sharon Osbourne’s recent cancer battles. Ozzy Osbourne’s first new studio album in almost six years. “I thought I’d never write again without any stimulation,” the recovering drugs aficionado told Billboard. “But you know what? Instead of picking of the bottle I just got honest and said, ‘I don’t want life to go (to pieces).’”

Ozzy co-produced the album with Kevin Churko and recorded it with his touring band: Zakk Wylde (guitar), Mike Bordin (drums) and Blasko (bass). Ozzy feels this album is the true follow-up to his classic No More Tears, the 1991 album that also challenged the expectations of what an Ozzy album should sound like. Some of the songs on Black Rain are ominous in their emotional tone–they examine a world teeming with greed, war, deception, bad drugs (”11 Silver,” about crystal meth) and environmental havoc. The Ozzman also zooms in on the overriding sense of fear and dread that define our times–perpetrated, he feels, by news programs that make “entertainment” out of terrible news events. Columbia.

Ozzy Osbourne (born John Michael Osbourne, December 3, 1948 in Aston, Birmingham, England) is the lead vocalist of the pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath, a popular solo artist and the star of the formerly popular reality show, The Osbournes.

As a solo artist, Osbourne has sold over 30 million albums in the US. Two albums, Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and No More Tears (1991), are certified quadruple platinum, for sales of over 4 million copies in the US.

not a whole lot of what he has done in his career was his idea…
but he’s a great “drugs in moderation” poster boy

You guys are idiots, ozzy is the father of metal, if it wasn’t for him and black sabbath, metal wouldn’t have been the same at all. It is pretty goofy that a 58 year old is making a metal album , but it isn’t bad, ozzy has never changed his style since like 1969 , but he still is pretty good suprisingly. I would much rather be hearing music like this rather than all the shit thats on mtv and vh1. Anyways in addition to downloading this, i suggest getting some of the old 1970’s black sabbath albums, like “we sold our soul for rock ‘n’ roll”. to get a good taste of old skool metal.

i agree, Sabbath has its place…his solo career? i dont know about that so much, some classics to be sure

but i maintain, alot of his decisions after sabbath werent entirely his…hence “Shock the Monkey” with Coal Chamber, a band signed to his wife’s label..oh god

i wish people would think about people before inflicting thier opinions on people, on people…

in the same way someone thought it would sell, some other people disagree…whatever the fuck ever, ckk and others, where have you been? people have always had opinions, the net just made those opinions easier to share…it has also made opinions quite redundant…and less articulate…

democracy at work ladies and gents, go buy a tiny violin

AWESOME ALBUM !!!!! i never thought that Ozzy will do some new stuff …… this album is really amazing.
Rock has no age and if yu like what you are doing you can do it as long as you live…..ozzy was awesome and is still awesome no matter what crazy stuff he did in his life…
People should know what they are talking about so listen to the songs or samples of it before giving your opinion …

Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and No More Tears (1991), are certified quadruple platinum, for sales of over 4 million copies in the US. i dont think that is shit…when you sell so much albums it means that you are good at what you do …

anyway long live metal and the prince of darkness !!!!

I consider this new Album a work of art, he is in true form. His voice sounds rested and i really like how the drums, guitar and Ozzy’s vocals mesh together. 6 years since Ozzy put out a cd and this wait was well worth it.
