Group Unleashed ripped this game released today by SKIDROW but nuked because dupe. Anyway, enjoy the ripped one with nothing deleted, only recompressed.

The streets of L.A. The birthplace of illegal streetracing. Here, the drivers of the fastest and most showy cars are the legends of the night. The competition is cut-throat. Modify your rides, take up challenges and win. Climb the ladder of the underground hierarchy and become the new king of L.A.!

Overspeed will put you in the seat of one of 10 stock import cars challenging you to seek out random street races at nighttime, earning parts and cars. You will slowly mold your vehicle into a finely tuned racing machine, capable of taking anything on the streets, but it won’t be easy. There are many other racers out there with these same aspirations, willing to do whatever it takes to get the checkered flag. The player will still be able to disassemble, repair, and upgrade their vehicle part by part. From bumpers to sway bars…nearly every possible part that is found on an actual vehicle will not only be present in Overspeed, but removable, damageable, and upgradeable. A detailed city will resemble the feeling of Los Angeles, with diversified roadways, corners, and intersections that made the dynamic street races a possibility.

    GRID is Crazy.. I LOVE IT, however, too much reality… Need more of a Ride Racer type. I Love a good BTTW racer, strictly arcade though. (BTTW = Balls To The Wall)

    I think this is not the same game as L.A. Street Racing.
    L.A.S.R was by Groove Games and this new one is by City Interactive, release date: 13th June 2008.
    I can´t believe that City Interactive releases an old game just changing its name.

    Wow ! ! ! I’m really impressed by this game ! It’s even better than Race Driver Grid :)

    Nope, it’s not L.A. Street Racing. L.A.S.R was worst than Overspeed (yes, it’s possible !).

    Anyway, i understand why Overspeed will only cost 5 or 6 dollars ! Best of all, it’s slower than Grid ! High performance !

    Thanks for this one, it was funny.

    @27 and @22 (myself): Downloaded and deleted. This is the same game as L.A.S.R . The executable is LASR.exe and even i can load my LASR savegames in this overspeed.
    Incredible hehe…i will buy it and cut my throat with disc

    i just got a logitech g25, still hooking it up and cant wait to play grid and race 07, can anyone recommend any better games than those two or should I be all set with bot of those?
