New game got released by ViTALiTY. I personally experienced some problems finding all the information, so I’ll give what I found 
. The game appearantly also has the name Sublustrum
Description:
Sublustrum combines elements of classical Myst-like adventure games, along with author’s approach to visual and audio environment. Interactive soundtrack has been designed for the game by Anthesteria project. The plot brings up aspects of irrational and subconscious dream viewing and near death experience. The main character, a mid-aged writer, who has recently got back from long-term wanderings in North Seas, receives an invitation letter from his brother – a scientist and professor at a university, whom he hasn’t seen for years, and decides to visit him.

However upon arrival, the writer receives news about sudden disappearance of his brother and as he finds out, the scientist turned into a real outcast, who has alienated himself completely from the outer world and has been secretly working on a mysterious machine, which, according to his calculations, could separate one’s consciousness from his physical appearance.

It rocks ass? So it’s good? It sounds pretty good from the description, but I can’t find a single video of the game or more information on how it plays. Can someone tell us more? Even the official website seems to be down. I’ll probably download it and give it a try. Together with Diamonds In The Rough, it looks good.

What are the requirements?

@Quasi, you use the key of time again, turn 180 degrees and take the key on the shelf.
Ended the game, @denail the switches in the capsule are the same as the height of the sliders at the piano.

I’m wondering the same thing. After I used HJSplit to unpack the files, I have vty-204a and vty-204b. Neither one has a file extension. I’ve tried opening them with Nero, and PowerISO and both programs tell me it’s an unsupported format.
Can someone help us out please?

@29 , 32 ,i did exactly the same and did nt work either , dont use hjsplit on this occasion , try extracting the contents instead , i personally used izarc for this , click extract on 1 st file and it will do the rest

it’s easier than you think. just double-click the first file and it’ll open in winrar. no need for hjsplit or anything special

Where does the inhaler go?I am stuck ,i figured out the switches on the piano and the red valves but cant figure out what to do with the inhaler after mixing it with the solvents after grinding the plant.??
@40 you use the inhaler when you enter the capsule , if you got the blue solution then its ready … have you sorted the wheels out ?

yes ALL the wheels are supposed to be all the way to the right till go no further… and are 1, goes 6 notch turns left
2, stays put
3, 2 notch turns left
4,3 notch turns left
…. with this and all the switches on the wall in the capsule room in the same position and you shuld be able to enter the capsule and use the inhaler
Thanx alot I was stuck for hours trying to figure that one out.How much longer is the game after you get access to the inside of the capsule?This game reminds me alot Of the drug DMT as how the drug produces a high pitch tone you hear and then the world is illuminated and you become enlightened,like “The shimmering world”I am convinced the makers of this game had knowledge of DMT when making this game ,thus the plant extractions,are spot on even the chemicals involved in plant extractions.and the other dimension is very much like a DMT trip in real life.
i ve no idea , i ve only reached the second stage myself today .. very strange game but good … will try and finish this and will post some of the harder bits up here …on the second stage there are MORE switches on a desk .. stuck there at moment ..

Damn im stuck in the capsule. I enter it, put in the inhaler, put that mask on. Then i go to the switchboard and enter the numbers i get at the “piano”(i guess the numbers i have when all 3 lights are on). But then i cant pull the switch/lever?? Does anyone have a clue?
The numbers i get from the piano are: 1,4,6,4,3 i tried turning them arround but didnt worked either?

Ok, found the part made the key(quite easy).
The switchboard in the office needs to be positioned in an way so the staircase parts are alligned. there u get a metal rod(bend it at the work shop using the hamer, creating a hook) and a part in the closet.
Use the hook to get the last part. Assemble the key and voila… Use the key at the hallway
Ull get in the past but briefly so work fast, get the gear from a shelf in the workshop, outside of the workshop look to the floor and click on the cable untill they lay really close to eachother, get the fuse from the office.
When ure back at the “normal” time go downstairs, insert the fuse and use the device(next to the time key hole).
Then the world gets turned, follow the path, pick up the phone, listen, notice the next puzzle machine the combo is for the bridges in the next room.
That as far as i am…

Hi! Im in the capsule for the first time. I know the synthesizer code, its 25754, i mixed the blue fluid from 3left, 5right liquid, and it flows into the inhaler. Ok. But when I want to put the inhaler in its place in the capsule, it wont go. What else have i do with the inhaler?
This game is rip off of the film Altered States with William Hurt. It is a huge film with a capsule and mystic drug plants helping the prof to go into other worlds of his psyche.
Stuck in the old furnace room (where the dog was beaten up). Where do I look for the time combination I have to enter at the office upstairs?

Ok… dee, why don’t you put the time key in the socket where you first saw the kids beating up the dog, and look through the peep-hole… pan up and there’s a clock showing the time… Maybe that’s what we’re looking for… still haven’t found out if it’s am or pm and what’s the purpose of the time setting in the factory office….

All right guys (beZZ, donna), here is the first part of that stupid +/- logic stuff:
Turn the upper left one to UP, the upper right one to DOWN, the bottom left one to LEFT, and the bottom right one to UP. Done, go to the car and up the stairs. If you have the “jarrican” then you probably found the crowbar. Now, where you found it, there is a valve, now you can turn it, so the fountain at the power box (with the +/-) will produce water. Go back, fill the can, and go inside the tram. Inside, open up the floor (2nd white “door”), and pour in the water from the can. That’s where i am stuck, i cant figure out the other power box (you have to put the handle in it (in the small hole)), it makes 3 kind of noises, really shy one, louder one, and a really loud one with a “rewind” sound. But if i try to open it with its handle, then it winds back and nothing happens. I hope i could help a bit, maybe together we solve this riddle, I’m kinda annoyed now (one hour for a big nothing now). Sry about my english, im hungarian.

No problem, I hope you can solve it, these guys made a really annoying game… I like it very much, but maaan these stupid things that you cannot know, find out from nothing, without a real clue, just some writings, i like those, these notes makes the game realistic, maybe a little horror novel-like, but omg why do i have to read all of them many times to get past an obstacle or something?! They think you will get it. Guys, honestly, i have 167 IQ, but this… Ah, nevermind… I’m waiting if someone gets past this thingy… By the way, i HAVE a russian walkthrough, google translator can make it into english, but i cant understand it…

nephret i bottom slider in middle and the other 3 at bottom then wind it up 2 times then it wont rewind dont know if that means anything, also the plus minus thing if you look at paperwork has to be done twice i think once for pump and once for tram

rekul, put the round one on the workbench, put on it the small propeller, then the long thin one (or use screwdriver first), then use screwdriver (or the thin part, i dont remember), then the “wrench”-shaped one (if you dont have the screwdriver, look at the gramophone in the room with the capsule..

So how do you set the machine with the handle in the desert?
Yeah, but listen, i figured out these from the russian stuff:
– We need to use twice the +/- thingy, first for water, then for tram electricity (the 2nd one that i cannot understand…)
– We DONT have any clue in the russian walkthrough about the sliding puzzle on the other box, or the handle…
– We have to put the mechanical embryo in the tram (i think in that machine that’s inside, in front of that ghost), but if you try, it doesn’t open (maybe needs power – read first point
– Everything else is in place…
So, the info we need is…
– What to do at the slider puzzle
– How to set 2nd time the +/- box
– Where and how to put somewhere the embryo
Anyone does have any clue, tip, a real walkthrough, or ANYTHING?!
To activate to +/- the 2nd time you set all the swiches like this:

I put the 3 on the lowest and the one in the bottom set to middle.
Rotate the wheel twice.
It openend the box in the tram i put the embryo there and activated the tram.

Dee, i tried the walkthrough rekul linked in, and the music puzzle does not worked… I have to tune in the 3 strings so they sound like the lower “metal flower” stuff’s 3 parts? I tried it and didnt work, i even printed the walkthrough and done as it says but nothing. No “pollen” found, i think maybe the flower opens up or something. Well, not for me…

nafreame, first of all, try to put the switches to the positions I mentioned earlier (78th entry), then go to the car and you can see a stair, go up there, and there will be a valve. Turn it. Then the fountain will work, put water in the can, turn the switches so they are in positions like rekul’s entry (88), then go to the other powerbox, do as in 88th entry (yep, same one as before), and go inside the tram. Open up the panel on the floor, pour in the water, then go to the end of the wagon, open up the machine, and put in the mechanical embryo. There you go… LITERALLY
Nephrit ok from the start are all the levers in the down position. is the harp arrow pointing right with the loudest sound coming from it
Nephret if you have the sound at its loudest then go to 3rd floor and set all switches at there furthest left.then click A once B twice Y 3 times flower on 2nd floor should now be open
Nephret once you have the pollen from flower on 2nd floor go back to 3rd floor reset all switches back to furthest left then click on them again A leave as it is B once Y twice flower on 4th floor should now be open
All right, the harp arrow wasnt in the right position. The ending causes many gamers a problem to understand. If someone doesnt want to read what is the end (by my opinion), DO NOT READ FURTHER HERE!

At the end, all comes clear. The scientist is the younger brother, and the player… is a ghost (or a being, that is made in “the dream, that we call reality” by the scientist’s mind. You have died that day… in the cold, icy water… He wrote all letters, all diaries for you, because he felt guilty in your death… That’s it…
You need to do the 2nd picture @ music tower first, then the 1st one from the walkthrough

Nephrit, I did not entirely understand the ending. Who died ? Was it me? Who was the scientist? Who am I ? (the player)
Anyway, the ending left me with a deep feeling of sadness. Great atmosphere this game had. The ending still haunts me.
