Here we have the pc version for the game Operation Flashpoint: Red River which is sequel to Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Description: Red River depicts a fictional conflict with contemporary geopolitical themes, unfolding over three distinct acts in both single player and drop-in-drop-out co-operative play for up to four players online. Faced with new counter-insurgency combat and the returning threat of the Chinese PLA, players will feel the tension, brutality and carnage of modern conflict from the perspective of a marine fireteam on deployment in a hostile country.

      The game does work but you require an xlive local account on your system to play. Any title that uses windows live will do, dirt 3, f1 2010, all install the files it needs, or you can download directly from ms’s site and setup an account on your pc when installed.

      The reason this is out in the UK a week before the US is a long holiday weekend here maybe? (Almost all UK schools and businesses are closed Fri to Monday) Also a few films are out here this weekend too before the US too I think to cash in – eg Fast and Furios 5. :)

      i can’t play the game, when i run *launcherc.exe the game dissapear and i have to stop redriver.exe process…

      WE did, and while you can start up the game, as soon as you try and play you receive a message you have logged off or some other such nonsense, leaving you unable to control the char.

      Do you have a problem with Xlive account?

      NFO instruction have wrong details!

      When they ask you to insert the serial number and XXXX wont work.

      The problem is that you have made an online account.
      But you need a local account.

      THE SOLUTION:

      1. Go create a NEW account.
      2. READ the the agreement (Scroll down)(CLICK on the first BLUE URL link!!
      3. Type youre Username
      4. SOLVED YOU CAN PLAY :)

      To anyone who is getting the “user left the session” issua (game disappearing and can’t control your character). Follow those steps:
      1-connect to the net when you start the game
      2-once the offline login is finished, quickly unplug your lan cable or turn off your router (disconnect from the net)

      for me it worked, I can play the game with no problems. Use this little fix till someone comes up with a long term solution

      I downloaded the game but if you are on any level i shall say day 6, and i shutdown the game en restart it next time the game say’s that my saves are corrupt

      I have a real Xlive account maybe is causing that de corrupt problems?

      I bought a freaking key, but i cant play the game because there is a new update and windows live wont let me log in when i havent updated the game. Also, key doesnt work with windows marketplace?

      Those who are having the crash to desktop despite having latest GFWL probably have a bad luck with latest GFWL. The current latest GFWL is not working for everybody. I succeeded in running the game with GFWL old version 3.0.86.0. However I can’t open the client because it starts updating first. The account the game currently is running on was already there & is probably an online account.
      So we have to wait for a GFWL fix from MS.
