OO DiskStat Pro v2.0.396 Incl Keymaker-CORE
CORE releases Diskstat, another tool to maintain your harddrives:)
Description:
Current storage volume capacities have now skyrocketed into the terabyte range, a fact that was, only a few years ago, completely unimaginable. Naturally, the notion of so much space combined with the wide world of internet downloads has lead to ever increasingly diverse contents on today’s hard disks: from installed programs and games to videos, pictures and music. To store a backup of so much data is no easy task. Even more challenging, however, is separating the important files for backup from the unimportant ones.
O&O DiskStat is a high-power tool for analyzing the used disk space on your storage volumes. With an easy-to-use interface based on the design of the Windows Explorer, you can take a closer look at the file and folder structure of your internal and external drives. Through intuitive and beautiful graphical representations you will find out which files, file types and folders are taking up the most space.

so its something like tresize but more expensive

“so its something like tresize but more expensive”
I do not know ‘treesize’, but I use for years and recommend the freeware SequoiaView. It shows graphically the folder structure at any level of a partition, and the filesize is represented by an area (cushion tree-maps).
SequoiaView 1.3 was launched November 2002. So while it is old, it is small and does its job. You can always right-click onto a file area and open an explorer window there.
It’s from the Technical University of the Netherlands, Eindhoven:
http://w3.win.tue.nl/nl/onderzoek/onderzoek_informatica/visualization/sequoiaview/
(since then they have developed a powerfull costly payware that goes by the name of MagnaView
http://www.magnaview.nl/
)
You can customize the colors of the file-areas according to their file extension, group text/audio/image/video files, archives, executables and DLLs.
btw.: To add *many* file extensions, it is easier (faster) to directly edit the configuration file which has – one for every line – the extension and the corresponding Red Green Blue color values. It is a simple text file called ‘DEFAULT.COL’.
e.g.
BMP 255 0 0
JPG 255 128 128
JPEG 255 128 128
Here, BMP files areas are displayed in 100% Red, while the JP(E)G files show some orange tone.
