Methinks its time to stop these twats posting viri links. Or at least have a mod moderate/approve them before allowing ‘commenters’ to post links..

The problem isn’t virus posters, they thankfully are relatively infrequent and easily caught out by those with sufficient patience to scan their d/l’s.
Virus posters are only a small, more twisted subset of the net sociopath (including the common or garden variety trolls) who shift from trying to divide a board with racist and inflammatory comments, myms and sigs, to attacks on posters, stupid and irrelevant fanboi arguments over some piece of software or hardware that they claim to like (but all too frequently fail to understand), therefore anyone who doesn’t like or own the same thing is attacked, to complaining to rapidshare or to a piece of software’s publishers about a rapidshare post.
Back in the late 90’s a particularly helpful distro of scene releases published the complete log of his communications with one of these net sociopaths.
Who knows the fellow may be one of those who chip away for no result at rlslog. The chap had gone from being a self proclaimed contributor to a spiteful sniper and then to an informant/spy/give-up/dog low life for some software combine when he chose to feel slighted at a comment on the site that wasn’t even about himself in the first place.
These guys are self-obsessed of course, but the self obsession is compounded by a hatred towards the object of their obsession, of themselves.

I too have been using FOSI for longer than I care to remember and I salute FOSI, not only for the great service that FOSI has delivered over the years but the incredible, stoic effort in withstanding all manner of attacks from many hundreds of these net sociopaths. It is bad enuff to be harassed by the big software combines, but when every moron with a net connection and personality disorder is also ‘having a go’ it must be difficult not to throw up yer hands in frustration n find a new hobby.
Fosi refused to allow any of their mean spiritness to intrude and the sites still gently take the p i s s out of the crazies.

Why use this app from 1998? Was made as Triamisu, bought by 0ncrack and renamed. Searching algorithms are really bad, if you want to steal something – steal something worth stealing. R-Studio is in different league. You can also use free apps like PC Inspector File Recovery, much better, faster and for free…

@30. I’ve got brain-ache trying to remember his nic. Was exposed following a sting operation, and got a visit from a few squaddies while over in Germany If I recall correctly :)

Pub deleter and all-round waste of space. Whined a lot.
