For those that are interested he is the prison warden in the movie the mummy. he’s the one that dies from getting a scarab in his skin which goes into his brain, he runs into a stone wall and kills himself in the movie.
he was in gladiator as well.

Actually Proud American, Omid’s act is mostly based on taking the piss out of his own culture. Which is British/Iranian. At least check him out before you form an opinion, you might be pleasantly surprised.

The last material that I heard from Omid he takes the pi$$ out himself and his race, very self-depreciating, he’s a very funny guy. The bloke used to be funny when he appeared as a guest on other shows but he is a one-joke comedian, the joke being that he is Iranian…The sketches on his BBC show could be performed by anyone else, and his stand-up is wearing thin now.
Apparently the US military are looking into using this guys TV show at Guantanamo Bay as the ultimate torture.

This guy is a Iranian, and to let you know something - almost all Iranians are atheist. All my Iranian friends are atheist, all their friends are atheists. And it’s the only type of “people” I have seen so many atheists in.
Secondly, americans deserve to be bashed for what they have done. Instead of using their skills etc to make the world a better place, they use it to get even more stuff for themselves by stealing oil and creating problems like war.

@26 America has made the world “AntiAmerican” as you call it. It’s not a matter of being AntiAmerican but Anti the idiot who many Americans still blindly support.
Just as it is always the biggest loudmouth in the bar that gets challenged and beaten up, usually by someone half his size, America gets the same.
By shooting off their mouth about might and superiority, some Americans even believe everyone wants to MOVE to America and others are just jealous because they are not American, they open themselves up to the most criticism.
If Americans were more self aware, looked and accepted their own downfalls as other do, kept power and a desire to be superior to themselves, then nobody would have a problem.
But again, as Americans spout off about how superior they are, and then fall flat on their face in front of the world, it is natural that the world laughs at America. It has been brought up on them by themselves, I’ve lived there and I’ve worked there, but chose not to join the crowd when it came to believing a screwed up country is superior to others which are also just as screwed up but not pretending otherwise.
Just the little things like, if you don’t like everything American then you are antiAmerican is what gets to most people. Everyone else is free to question and laugh at their F****d up governments, but you do that toward America’s government and they call it unpatriotic, anti-American, Bush hating. Ahhh, land of the free, freedom of speech, as long as it isn’t against America.
Hypocrisy and constant mistakes don’t equate to perfection, but so many Americans still believe they are perfect and out to fix the world. Always looking out and never looking in, that’s why people thumb their noses at America.

im an american and i fully admit that we have are fare share of problems, However it is real convenient to suggest that america has oversteepped its bounds and we should mind our own business at a time when u dont necessarily need our help. @36 While I agree that America’s support was a welcome part of WWII. I praise all men and women involved in WWII regardless of country. The US neither WON the war, nor saved anyone from speaking German. Germany’s ATTEMPT at conquering England, and the English Channel and ultimately Western Europe failed. This was called the Battle of Britain. It happened between 10th July and 31st October 1940. While some American pilots had joined the allies in the RAF, America’s full involvement was not until D-Day, after being attacked by Japan. A German Europe and Japan could easily take America too. It was save America, not save Europeans.
In WWI, you supported and supplied Germany while also supporting Western Europe. Thus playing out the war, as it neared an end, America (against allied wishes) joined and carried it out. This is also ultimately the reason for unsettled issues and WWII to begin with.
After failing to take England, Germany went to Russia where they met superior force and ultimately lost the war. Americas and allies had meanwhile liberated Western Europe from the thinning German troops.
Antiquated US history will not support your argument these days.
Yes, as a trading partner with the US, Canada does gain economic strength, but remember, the US is not a major exporter, relying a great deal on imports in order to function. While it would hurt the Canadian economy to lose trade with the US, Canada does have a large allied base and cam trade with other countries too. The US, always pushing for independence, has reduced that ability to do so and would not have the resources either. It would harm both sides, not just the side you “cut off”.

first, i never said the U.S won the war i said if we hadnt gotten involved the germans would have conquered all of Europe . The point being, if we just minded our business and not gotten involved in foreign matters, with almost 100% certainty the Germans would have won. So dont change what i said to try and justify ur position.
All im saying is the world cant have it both ways, beg help one minute and condemn us the next for doing that exact same thing. We cant please every country in the world all the time, if we do get involved in a foreign issure it will absolutely piss some country off, If were to choose not to get involved in that same event it would also piss different group of countries off.
So heres the point someone is always wanting our help for something, so that inturn upsets other countries, So at any given time there is going to be a group of countries somewhere in the world that is upset. Just makes us an easy target.
all i can say is god help the rest of the world if the U.S. ever publicly declared that our official stance on all foriegn matters was of nuetrality, meaning we wont get involve in any matters outside of North America cause all hell will break loose.

No they wouldn’t, again it was 4 years before you were involved with any real effort, that they had already FAILED at conquering Western Europe, turned tail and targeted Rusia instead. Rusiian then did a great job at defeating THAT invasion too. D-Day was the beginning of liberation, the invasions had already taken place. Don’t see this as me stating that the US didn’t play an integral part towards the liberation of Western Europe. I’m just saying that whole bassackward mentality that was so common for years, “America won the war and without America, Europeans would all be speaking German” is just hogwash, and the world knows it, well apparently MOST of the world does.
So unless you can change history and prove that America saved Western Europe I’d say you don’t have a point there.

Most other countries are obligated by association to help out, America does so as well but as it is not an obligation it is seen as such a hand out. No, you are wrong again, sir. You HAVE tried playing neutral before, it was during WWI. Except America’s idea of neutrality was supplying the Germans with cotton to create gunpowder to kill the Allies, and then supplying the Allies with arms.
(The exact same thing you tried to stop foreign countries doing with Iraq for so long, dual purpose goods an all that. You also encouraged that “illegal” trade yyourselves by trying to buy oil from other countries as Iraq will not supply you, forcing smaller countries to trade with ‘dual purpose goods’ and breching sanctions that the US had imposed on Iraq by themselves.)
Essentially, America’s decision to not participate, was also a reason WWI didn’t end sooner, and it resulted in unresolved issues after the war which ultimately came to WWII. Just another reason Europeans did not want America to have anything to do with the war. So, in essence, if you HAD kept your hands to yourself as Allies had begged you to do, the world would have been a better place, millions fewer men, women and children would have died and WWII probably wouldn’t have happened at all.

Afghanistan, the Taliban were not removed, simply pushed back into thier grottos in Kandahar. They regrouped and came back stronger than before, just as AlQaeda did. In fact, there are known AlQaeda sects all over the world, including known AlQaeda living and plotting INSIDE the USA. While they look to fight that enemy elsewhere and take people’s minds away from reality, they are facing certain doom again.
Canada has taken over in Afghanistan it is up and down but seemingly moving forward slowly but surely.
