Old Joy LIMITED DVDRip XviD-iMBT

The last limited movie released this evening is an American drama Old Joy. This movie fulfils the definition of limited in my eyes: interesting plot, good acting, but still, the movie is too boring to enjoy. The IMDB ranks Old Joy with 6.7 points out of 10, and it also won few film awards, but I still didn’t like it too much. iMBT managed to fit the movie with AC3 sound to one CD, so you don’t have to worry about the quality.

OLD JOY is the story of two old friends, Kurt (Will Oldham) and Mark (Daniel London), who reunite for a weekend camping trip in the Cascade mountain range east of Portland, Oregon. OLD JOY is a minimalist story of friendship, loss and alienation in the Bush era. For Mark, the weekend outing offers a respite from the pressure of his imminent fatherhood; for Kurt, it is part of a long series of carefree adventures. As the hours progress and the landscape evolves, the twin seekers move through a range of subtle emotions, enacting a pilgrimage of mutual confusion, sudden insight, and recurring intimations of spiritual battle. When they arrive at their final destination, a hot spring in an old growth forest, they must either confront the divergent paths they have taken, or somehow transcend their growing tensions in an act of forgiveness and mourning.

Sounds boring and gay I’d rather stick a drill down my japs eye and put it on full speed. How the hell did it get that high of a rating on IMDB are. A download for people who don’t care what they watch just for the sake of watching. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 2/10 and that’s very generous for a movie that sounds so riveting. back to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

lol.. still remember the day i bought my first Palace 12″ (Days in the Wake) way back around 1995. i was fed up with the hardcore emo scene at the time, and while doing some shopping at a local record store, this really cool girl recommended that LP and i’ve been hooked on indie stuff ever since.. even got laid that afternoon with said girl, hehe.. Oldham kicks ass! :D

Wondering when this was going to be around…

Anything by Oldham is worth checking, best songwriter the usa has given in the last 15 years.

I liked this movie very much. One of the best I’ve seen for a long time. This is something I would actually consider paying for.
