Martin, I would NOT worry about the competition, Although there site is visually more appealing. The name of the site alone ’sucks’.., they’ve still got a long way in promoting their site. and only rlslog’s young immature audience will flock their direction.
I hope you don’t take offense to me giving you advice, but I’m sure many would agree, the Look of the site needs an upgrade, it’s not aesthetically pleasing, and unfortunately alot of your target audience, may be swayed by your competitions pretty design. I just think you should stay ahead of them in every way possible.
No matter what you decide, as i’m sure these things have been going through your head way before my comment..
Myself and some of my friends who come here, will continue to get our stolen goods from ReleaseLog. =)

For those of you just tuning in… last night rls was hijacked by a few former employees who hacked the site and re-directed all traffic to their new site, which the created just to compete with release log.
It was very frustrating, as i had logged onto the site in an effort to find passwords for movies i had previously downloaded.
Those guys are totel azzholz for what they did, and i would never patron thier site in the future… they can F’ themselzzzz in the butt!

I had no idea RLSlog raked it in like that. (Heck, I didn’t even know they had ads though, thanks to Firefox + Adblock Plus).
And really, the bandwidth costs for a site like this can’t be that great, I mean it’s just a blog. But I could care less how much they make, I think they do a pretty good job of keeping people updated on releases and stuff. More power to ya Martin and Co.

I Know This Is Not On Topic But I Wanted To Tell Everyone That The Site Araditracker.com has just Closed down. It was a good site with strict rule’s unlike RLSLOG and I wanted to know how can this type of thing happen and Is RLSLOG in any danger due to this? I would Cry For Like days if anything happened to this site. Its like my baby and my home page. I’m glad that RLSLOG.net is back. I’m OK with ads because such thing like this require dedication and money to be able to continue. If those who dislike martin and RLSLOG.net just build up their own site, that would be a good thing, because it will create competition, but to simply hack the site and redirect the site? I just received an email from these tossers, a non solicited email, sent to advertise a site i have no interest in, and did not give my email address to.
Here in New Zealand, we have the “unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007″ Also referred to as the Anti-Spam law.
If there are any other New Zealanders out there who think that these wankers have gone above and beyond the level of juvenile by stealing our email addresses and using them for their own gain, the more complaints we can pass on to Internal Affairs, the better.
