OiNK Servers Raided!

According to TorrentFreak one of the, if not the most popular music torrent sites, OiNK has been brought offline with their servers raided and the admin ‘OiNK’ a 24 year old Briton arrested. At the time of writing the site is unresponsive, so it looks like the reports are true, further proof is that the IFPI has put out a statement on the raid as well as the police confirming the arrest. Read more here.

R.I.P. :(

    @ s.jobs

    Yep, that’s exactly right idiot, they will indeed bust you for sharing in copyrighted files.

    Whats the s in your user name for – is it Swirly perchance? As in Mr Swirly the recently nicknamed (and subsquently arrested) pedo who thought he could get away with his heinous crimes via the anonymity a bit of photo editing?
    Do you feel as safe about your downloading and uploading of child porn as you blatantly do about any other form of digital file transfer you pillock?

    “But I only shared zeros and ones officer”! Just keep repeating that to yourself over your 20 stretch whilst Bubba tosses your salad!

    Whose squealing like a piggy now…?

    Oh and Owned by the way ;-)

    Maybe just maybe we wouldent all be pirating if companies charged a fair price for their material instead of trying to make the hugest profits for all their shareholders and board members. These big corporations dont give a fu*k about music/games or customers. Alls they are bothered about is $$$$$ so fu*k them.

    The guy arrested was not hosting files. Donations could have been made(if you did not have music files/URLs to share) so that you could become a member. It was practically a meeting place for members to get together with other members who had the links. He was the middle man. Very grey area to be arrested for.

    Couldn’t we all prove a point by just boycotting music altogether? Just go for a few months or so of not listening to music, and since most of it is garbage anyway, it wouldnt be tough.

    We could listen to talk radio instead, or even just read.

    @jacksmack

    They can’t have Chinese immigrants in China you idiot. Just like there are no French immigrants in France or Italian immigrants in Italy.

    Some people are so stupid it just makes me mad.

    YOU FVCKING MORON. I KNOW THEY DON’T HAVE CHINESE IMMIGRANTS IN CHINA YOU D0UCHEBAG. BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF “SCUMBAG DVD TRADERS” THERE. TRYING TO SAY THAT CHINA IS INNOCENT IS LIKE SAYING THERE WAS NEVER A COLD WAR.

    The internet was planned to be used by corporations and …. so they could do their dirty work easier. A few years back it got out of their control. Now it belongs to us. They think by busting torrent sites they ‘ll scare us. If they only knew.
