as an american, i understand that people are number 1, excited that bush will no longer be running the country and number 2, that this is a historical because of obama is an african-american (well, bi-racial that is).

other than that, i am not thrilled as an american, and i didn’t vote because i didn’t like either candidate so my vote wouldn’t have meant anything.

obama can talk a good game, but talk is cheap. i’ll be jumping up and down when i see him fulfill these promises.

he ran a good campaign. but he doesn’t have a lot of experience in the political arena. this man isn’t jesus but damn sure seems to be more popular then jesus. he has a very hard road ahead of him.

i hope he can make some changes here in america, but it’s easy for him to say he’ll make those same changes outside of america. that’s an impossible task for him.

as for some of his promises, like number 1 he wants to cut taxes on the poor and raise taxes on the rich. well to me, that just sets a bad example. i believe if you pay your dues to this country, you work hard, put yourself through college and sustain a wonderful career for you and your family than why in the hell should you be punished for that? work hard so you can hand over your money and put more people on welfare who are too lazy to work. screw that.

and his promise to bring the troops home is not setting a good example to these crazy muslim extremist. our damn army can’t scare these bastards off, do you honestly think words are going to?

by the way, to call him a black man or an african-american, wouldn’t that be racist? he’s bi racial. but i see him as a human being. i’ve never heard anybody call him a white man. i guess the other white half doesn’t exist? people want to say prejudice and racism doesn’t exist in america like it used to, bologna! if a REAL black man ran for president and is elected, and i’m talking WESLEY SNIPES BLACK, real black like FLAVA FLAV BLACK, then that’s the day that racism does not exist.

TO EVERYONE MAKING COMMENTS THAT WE (THOSE WHO KNOW THE SYSTEM IS $@$$#%) ARE NOT NUT JOBS. I find it funny that the people screaming the govt. is corrupt,, racism in govt,,suppressing the people,,this illegal war to rape countries of their oil etc. all of a sudden call us conspiracy nut.. You guys cut and paste your own beliefs when convenient and now obama was “elected” The system works and we are crazy..
I say this to you..I would say the same thing regardless of who “won”.. The fact that such a huge amount of people in this country turned out to vote who never have done so before proves we want change but it doesn’t matter we wont get it. My god people please wake up ..so keep yelling and screaming and telling yourself that obama is different.. Have you all pulled the blinders so tight that you honestly believe that in the hundreds of years in this country that all of a sudden we have an honest President elect to save us??
I am waiting for the day it happens but I have a gut feeling that 1-2 years into his term his approval rating will be the lowest in years. Why, you ask? Where should I start? How about the fact the guy has no real experience.
Do you think you could walk in to wal-mart tomorrow and be hired as C.E.O if the only experience you had was running a lemonade stand when you were 8.

I’m from England and I’m glad he has little experience, it’s a good thing. He’s a fresh start for America which is just what the USA needs. I think I’m safe in saying we here in the UK are all pro Obama supporters. Congrats to the Democrats.

McCain/Palin’s campaign was completely aimed at the still VERY MANY ignorant closet bigot Whites and extremely gullible Americans (of all races) that make up a lot of this country. ok to all that say republicans are “crybabies” i didnt vote for obama but he will be our president and i am a patriot and will support him. This will be an interesting test presidency being that he has only held office for less than 4 years which under qualifies him for president. if he does well then we will know that he had a good idea of how things work but if he messes up big time then we will know next time not to elect a rookie. if the american people have made a mistake and in 4 years they make the same mistake the comment before about america turning into a place like in the movie idiocracy will most definatly come to pass. i hope this all turns out well and if not i hope we learn our lesson cause if it happens again then the citizens of this nation will find out how fast a weak nation can become a socialist state or a communist nation. good luck obama i hope ya do well but if not god help us….. thank you
