there is no doubt that intel and amd r doing better jobs
and ati fanboys stop talking about ur 3850s and 3870s we know how r these cards.. It is common knowledge that 3870 is 25% slower than 8800 GT 512MB. 3850 was ruling the mid-market untill...until 8800 GT 256MB launched. yes the 256 MB 8800GT beats 3850..

Being a customer , I dont care if its Intel/nvidia or AMD/ATI , I need a product thats suits my budget and requirement , so far with out a doubt Nvidia with the 8800 GT and Intel with the C2D
are doing a fair job.

NOTE: the ppl @ nvidia and microsoft do know how to dominate the market.

At first I was think ANOTHER month to decide which 10.1 then I saw that instead of releasing ALL their cards then it will just be the most expensive one leaving most people to have to wait until JUNE!! to get a head/head comparison.
I CAN wait to swap my 1950 until Jan and see what the dual ATI card does, but I am not going to wait ANOTHER 6mths until NVIDA gets off their A** to release an affordable 10.1
Actually, I think I might do a 3870, and THEN slot it with 6xxx series if I can pop for it

AS far as AMD/INTEL unless something good happens by mid year 08, I will have to stop playing with my AMD' Cpu's, though unless INTEL can surprise us with a GPU they have been secretly developing, it might not be till this time next year when we get to have a 3rd player in the GPU game
I THINK they are going to stay away from ultra high end and focus on the mid stuff as well at first

ROFL all those idiots who brought dual 8800s when they first came out.... just to play ONE (crap) dx10 game, and the next gen card comes out (dx10.1 no doubt).

ATI rules anyway... at least before the HD2000s :(

I have read it will be a series of smaller gpu's working together as will ATI's answer to it. Guess single chip gpu solutions are getting too hot.

I really hope AMD doesn't go under next year, imagine how lazy Nvidia and Intel would get. Monopolies are not consumer friendly. Bill your a very bad man.
