Nullsoft WinAmp Pro v5.35 Incl KeyMaker-DVT
Chaps from DVT released a brand new version of WinAmp, my popular music player. The funny thing about these releases is they appear so fast that the official website of WinAmp sometimes doesn’t even contain the information about this new version. The changelog for 5.35 isn’t that long as for previous versions, but there are still some important bugfixes so I recommend to update.
Winamp is a multimedia player made by Nullsoft. It is skinnable, multi-format freeware. It also now plays streamed video content, both live and recorded, authored worldwide. Is anyone else having troubles with this release? I have reason to believe that this release somehow exists as AdWare.
This torrent contains Trojan Downloader! Someone has tampered with main setup file and added the trojan. You can easily see this, because main setup executable from this torrent is actually self-extracting CAB archive (with embedded trojan and original setup executable), compared to the plain Nullsoft Installer that WinAmp actually uses. And when you start it, it will try to install trojan executable file entitled “retadpu173.exe” in you main Windows folder (more info can be found by searching for “retadpu” on Google)!
So, DON’T use setup executable from this torrent!

thx for the heads up guys excuse my ignorance but can anyone answer a quick question when trying to view shoutcast tv alot of the time it says server full on the good stuff like simpsons and family guy and shit does everyone get this problem and the problem with alot of the music vids on winamp music not loading up after some chevie advert?

Anyone know how I can remove the virus? Is it based specifically in the file, or can I remove it and still run the program?
Just a follow up. After extensive scanning via programs and some hand-done removals as well, it appears I’ve gotten rid of this program and its reg entries. No need to answer my Q.

Why the affiliation with New torrents????? Why not just tell all where the best torrents are.. when and where,, its not hard..
