NOVA Secrets of the Samurai Sword HDTV XviD-MiRAGETV

Here is an episode brought to us by MiRAGETV from the most watched science based Tv show in the world NOVA. This time the documentary is on the Secrets of the Samurai Sword. I’ll personally get this since gernally anything Japanese intrigues me.

The science behind samurai swords is explored. Included: the six-month creation process of one sword, from smelting to the sharpening of the blade; a Japanese receptionist whose interest in samurai swords maintains a family tradition. Also: Lehigh University professor Michael Notis explains what makes the sword an effective weapon.

    a katana is a purification weapon

    the sword is as important as the sheath,that it lies inside,one must be able to control
    it.like ying and yang

    the most famous japanese sword ,was a wooden sword,made by hand just before
    a fight,from a tree branch lying around.the samurai was
    musashi miyamoto.

    @conker

    Exactly. Like Jap porn, why is it always pixelated? All the good parts are impossible to see like that.

    Looks almost like the one done by national geographic, except with different narrator.
