NOVA Secrets of the Parthenon HDTV XviD-MiRAGETV

Nothing too exciting in TV shows has come along lately, so maybe its a good time to post an older release. MiRAGETV (MTV) is a small TV rls group, which releases only a certain format of TV series such as motorcross, educational shows and PBS NOVA episodes in 720p and HDTV formats. 1 week, two days ago they released the 720p version of ‘Secrets of the Parthenon’. The HDTV rip, however is 7 weeks old. Any TV show posting requests for me just paste scene release in comments and I’ll get around to it.

An examination of the Greek government’s restoration of the Parthenon, which dates back some 25 centuries ago, and the secrets it has unveiled about how the temple was built.

For each great achievement on every culture (Egyptian,Greek,Roman etc.) there are always mysteries surround them. I don’t think that this documentary says something new.At least to me who I am Greek.

PS.1: Have American culture produced anything monumental the last 20-30 years? meh Only the 105$ per barrel of petrol…
Pls US ppl say to my friend G.W.Busch to get the FCUK out of your great country.
PS.1: Great job here at RLSLOG guys keep up the good work. BTW is any of your staff related to Greece? I have this impression for some of your founder staff.
    cheers

Give our marbles back stupid english robbers.

England; one country with no civilization has stolen ancient monuments from other countries to build some museams and make history.

Unfortunately, not only they ve stolen Parthenon marbles but they tried to clean these marbles making serious damages…

Pitty. When greeks were building Acropolis, brittish were on trees like monkeys.

Mpampi it’s not wise to insult other ethnicities just because governments and/or organizations such as the British Museum refuse to comply with simple logic. National treasures belong to their countries, they are heritage that should be preserved for us and the future generations.

But as you all probably know, the British have lived their whole history ravaging other nations. South Africa, India, Egypt are the most bright examples of this “Commonwealth” crusade to harvest other nations heirlooms.

Anyway, this is an enormously serious matter to be discussed here @ rlslog, hope you people will enjoy this documentary, and join the cause of reuniting the Parthenon Friezes to their original place.

If you go to the British Museum in London you’ll see the amount of history that they’ve looted around the world. Egypt, Italy, Greece, etc. Some of it is completely intact, but in the case of the Parthenon marbles they were literally cut out damaging them and the Parthenon.
London is an awesome city! We decided to vacation there a year ago and it was really incredible to see the marbles knowing their history and detail. But then that turned to to disgust seeing their damage and total size of the collection - it’s huge. I think the worst thing I saw was they ripped the whole front of a Greek temple, including the stairs, and have it on display. It was completely damaged, chopped into blocks and carted away.
I’m sure at the time if they had the manpower they would have carted the whole Parthenon away.
