You may as well not have antivirus if you are silly enough to install Nortons. It’s the biggest piece of junk software on the market!

bloatware! with windows 7 you don’t even need virus protection anymore. been running 1 years now without one. all you need is Malwarebytes which is free.

Norton is far from “bloatware”. Start reading some reviews and educate yourself a little…

I have the original of Norton as it’s only a few quid to buy new. This version seems far “snappier” that say 2011 and I thought 2011 was fast.

Two processes running. One is 14.9mb and the other is 5.8mb. Hardly bloatware ;)

I must lol at this release and the sceners responsible for it… Do you seriously think anybody is interested in this shi*?

The number of PC’s I’ve had to “dis-infect” from this rubbish I can’t even recall, Mostly shop bought systems that come bundled with this cheap yet expensive crap. Avoid at all costs. It’s actually worse than malware+virus put together regardless of whether it’s crack contains one. I’d rather hang myself.

People still use Norton? Don’t download this garbage and I’ll let you in on what intelligent people use. Avast, Microsoft Security Essentials, or AVG (which doesn’t seem as popular as the other 2 anymore). Malwarebytes is also good. Also sandboxie comes in handy. Some say the 64 bit doesn’t work, it does. Your welcome.

    @ pspitalk age

that’s not true, the old Norton Internet Security 2006 was cracked properly with a keygen.
I know because i used to use it.

    anything can be cracked.
if the cracker is good, he can crack anything.
all validations/serials are based on a specific sequence depending on the Manufacturer.
That’s how they generate serials for paying customers.

What do you think keygens are?
The crackers figured out the algorithms.

“inherently can’t be “cracked”" would only be if the server-side was whitelisting all their serials, or blacklisting specific ones, ON THEIR UPDATE SERVER

  42. youwish

Norton the resource hogging bloatware… Funny people with Norton end up getting infected anyway. (on XP) I agree its pretty much useless on Win 7. Viruses are the past now with UAC. All you need is a little common sense. Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials all you need installed.

Just turn off ur Norton tamper protection and copy the activation crack to Engine64/…/ and apply the crack, you will get 365 days remaining

AVAST ?? I hate this AV, i have installed and disinstalled in 2 days… not find many virus and when find is too late… now is 5 years i use Norton (licensed), now i wait to find in my language but for me is the best AV, simple to use and very light for systemn.

  46. Ghostwriter
    September 13th, 2011 | 12:07

This doesn’t work !! Even if I put the activator inside the Engine/…/ and turn off the protection it still says 30 days. Anyone have clear, concise instructions on how to activate ?

  47. dc!
    September 13th, 2011 | 14:00

Don’t even turn off Tamper Protection. It is there for a reason. By turning it off you provide a critical attack vector for any malware to exploit – it can tamper with AV engine and render it useless. A common sense is a sense uncommon.

@Bloated – Malwarebytes is not free. It scans for malware then they want you to pay them money to remove it.

@Billy – Trying to make yourself sound smarter than the group just proves you’re an idiot. Maybe you should just keep your opinions to yourself.

    Hello there,

Good day! I do have the keys for Norton Antivirus 2012. See below for details.

    All Genuine! Norton Antivirus 2012!
    1 year (1 PC ONLY) – USD$7.50/key
    1 year (up to 3 PCs) – USD$9.00/key
    2 years (up to 3 PCs) – USD$14.00/key

Norton Antivirus 2012 product keys are up for grab!
However, I am unable to provide keys for free anymore but I am offering everyone a very cheap deal for all the keys, non-activated and I can assure you that all keys are genuine, direct from Symantec, the exact sets from retail boxes. Able to activate on trial or expired softwares. You may re-sell the keys if you want to so long it’s not been activated yet.

I do also provide keys for:
Norton Internet Security 2012 [same prices as Norton Antivirus 2012]
    Norton 360 Version 6 Premier Edition [2 years (up to 3 PCs) - USD$18.00/key]

If you think it is not a good deal, don’t buy and just go and head down to retail or Symantec online shop. I’d bet that you won’t get the same price I’m offering.

For further information before purchasing, kindly reply to

    Thank you.
