Service Pack 2 Available Guys?

Fixes heaps of the bugs in v14.

The reason why this takes 20 mins to load is that it has to load 100x more drivers than when Ghost was available via a floppy bootdisk.

Anyone recommend the best system for realtime imaging? i.e. total disaster recovery of boot volume (C:)?

Thanks for this link ismanio. For everyones info the keygen has a trojan and doesn’t seem to work anyway. Not tried the .iso itself.

I’ve used many of them but for home use Paragon Hard Disk Manager beats Norton & Acronis hands down..

And when you consider that I used to boot it from a floppy disc that would take about 2 minutes it’s not really what you’d call ‘progress’ is it.

I stopped using Norton Ghost when version 12 took about 25 minutes from booting the CD to actually selecting the backup file to restore from.

The v12 recovery cd would fail w/ 4 gigs of ram, v14 fixed that. -Anon, SATA working fine here, 4 drives in raid-0. No drivers required.

fyi- If you read the EULA upon booting to the recovery environment, it says something about granting Symantec permission to track websites you visit. In an attempt to identify malicious websites iirc.

ghost 12 is still the best version, is faster than the earlier versions and doesnt have the problems of the later releases.
