NOFX – They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live (2007)

Hello People! I’m a new poster here at rlslog.net and I go by the name of ReeGed. I’ve been a frequent user of this website for a few months now and since I have some time on my hands I thought I’d help out a bit. I listen to a lot of music, therefore this will be my main area of posting. I hope to represent some of the genres that haven’t been covered as thoroughly as others in the past here at rlslog.net. I like keeping my iTunes nice and tidy so I’ll always include the highest resolution cover art I can find at the bottom of my posts.

My first post is the second live album from American punk band NOFX entitled “They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live” (their first live album from ‘95 was called “I Heard They Suck Live!!” ^^). This band has been around for quite a while and is definitely worth checking out! The album hits the shelves tomorrow so support the band if you like the album :) .

Ever done something you regret while drunk? I know, I know… so embarrassing right? Ever woken up and rubbed your pounding skull and said, “What did I do last night?” Oh man…you should have seen yourself… first… you got totally blitzed and then… then… this is the best part… YOU RECORDED A LIVE RECORD! That’s right, back in January, NOFX booked 3 nights of talking mixed with the occasional song at Slim’s in San Francisco and recorded a live record. It’s their sloppiest, drunkest, funniest, best sounding recording ever with new versions of old songs, rare songs and they even made sure not to play any songs off their 1995 live album “I Heard They Suck Live!!”. They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live is scheduled to make the walk of shame into record stores sometime in November.

    @terry

did you mean that as in NoFX are emo?
god i hope your comment was just missplaced

  11. November 19th, 2007 | 22:34

Hey just so everybody knows, there was a mixup in the NFO of this release. Track 12 is supposed to be “Instant Crassic” and track 14 is supposed to be “See Her Pee”.

I fixed it on this page now, so just fix tracks 12 and 14 according to the tracklist above!

@Terry: This is definitely not Emo music my friend (im known to be especially sceptical towards emo music amongst my friends), give them a try, you might like them.

Nice to see the new “highRez cover” option. Good stuff for adding the album art for Cover Flow and such. As for NOFX, they look like total wankers on that photo. NOT a fan!

  14. November 19th, 2007 | 22:42

Is anyone else having problems with the torrent link?

    http://www.bitdig.com/torrent/music/download-646002/NOFX-Theyve-Actually-Gotten-Worse-Live-2007-pLAN9.html

    nice first post.

its great seeing the longest line on the tracklist.

Anyone who says this band are emo are very musically unedcated.

Anyone who judges the music by the bands appearance are also very musically uneducated.

For those of you who are uneducated; NOFX have been going since the 80’s. They are a well respected punk band.

    November 20th, 2007 | 00:24

Nice first post mate – usually I skip the music releases featured here as they are all so called “dance” music – but NOFX is a proper band…

    As for the “metal” fans…

Anyway, NOFX are independent, so go out and buy the record – I am.
