No Reservations DVDRiP XViD-PUKKA

Respected grp PUKKA is here again with a 1CD of No Reservations, an okay rated Comedy/Romance film. The film is Written by Carol Fuchs, and directed by Scott Hicks. There are some big-name actors in the film such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart and Abigail Breslin. The quality should not be an argument as we all know that PUKKA has a good reputation of consistent releases.

The life of a top chef changes when she becomes the guardian of her
young niece.

This will give me something to watch with the girlfriend.

But as for the Hitman R5 it could come out anytime, usually the R5 releases come out near their scheduled release date but sometimes they get pushed back a month or so (See: Balls of Fury).

What I’m interested in is this: Rambo.2008.DVDRIp.XVID.ADDiCTOR-mVs

    I’m sure it’s fake though.

This was an ok Movie, wife liked it a lot.. yet sadly on these threads once again it proves that childish behavior will never stop among simple minded people. I mean really people, how hard is it to simply put a post about the movie, perhaps add a small comment about another movie and be done with it instead of acting like total fools. They say the world changed because of the internet, which is true, but what they left out is that now that fool who only embarrassed them self locally, usually claiming to be abducted by aliens or some other nonsense now has the power to embarrass them self world wide. When i read the posts all i can think is that it looks like a lot of villages are missing their idiots.

great movie. acting was top knotch. direction was perfect. too bad the hunter guy gets killed off screen about 95 minutes into the movie and his wife also gets executed in the end off screen. u can tell chigar did it because he checks his shoes for blood when he leaves the house. it was really funny when chigar almost gets killed by some jack ass running a red light. evil wins in the end. tommy lee jones is a punk ass coward. well anyway sorry for the spoiler lol :) )

The remake of this movie was totally unneeded. The British version. Mostly Martha was very much better and wasn’t so cheap they had many interior shots in the kitchen, movie cameras and lighting are reflected in the heat lamp covers and other metallic surfaces.

@release: Catherine Zeta is pretty. Will check this out.

    No Country For Old Men:

The key to the ending is in Tommy Lee’s dream explanation and the title of the movie itself. In the end his dream basically states that his father is waiting for him and he will be joining him soon in either the after-life or retirement, whichever way you choose to see it. This is because throughout the movie the killer Chigurh is always one step ahead of Tommy, no matter how hard he tries he simply cannot catch up to Chigurh. This is evident numerous times in the film, he will be so close to Chigurh, even physically, but never actually catch him. Tommy Lee realizes in the end that he can no longer keep up with this ‘new generation’ of criminals and is morally defeated or rather ‘pushed into quitting.’ Remember the wheelchair guy keeps asking him “I heard you were *quitting*. Why?” He never actually uses the word *retire*. Tommy Lee’s career as law enforcement then inevitably comes to an end as he ages into an *old man* and can no longer keep up with this *country* and it’s criminals. Therefore: NO COUNTRY FOR *OLD MEN*. :D

Listen, the original was better, better quality, better acting, better direction. This movie steals LITERALLY EVERY line, EVERY scene, EVERY word, EVERY intimate reprisal, from the original. Seeing it by itself may make you think it’s not bad. Seeing it after seeing the original will make you as angry as myself. I have no doubt in this, I’m risking a ban, they NEVER should have remade the original, the original added something to humanity, the remake merely makes a few Hollywood actors richer. It’s disgusting and disgraceful. I’m ashamed they’re able to accomplish it without being sued into oblivion by the author.

“can someone explain the ending of
no country for old men to me.
maybe someone who read the book.”

You really need to read the book to get it.
There’s no big secret you missed out on, it’s just that there’s a 2nd narrative in the book that they couldn’t fit in the film where Tommy Lee Jones’ character talks about the way society has changed.

His explanation of his dreams is just part of the same subplot as the opening narration about the execution, his conversation with the El Paso sheriff, him returning to the hotel room where he knew Chigur was and his retirement.

In the book there are lengthy parts narrated by the sheriff where he doubts that even if he could find Chigur that he would want to.

    “You can’t stop what’s coming”

It’s not a story about a chase or a theft. It’s a western, like most of McCarthy’s novels. It’s just set in the 1980s to show what has happened to the “wild west” since the time of horseback riders and the invasion of the drug trade.

It’s funny, but I don’t see why this movie doesn’t fit on 1 CD?
It’s less than 700MB (not 708MB as mentioned in above description). The 708MB probs includes samples. Even so, if your burner supports overburning, and your have the right software (even Nero supports it), you can overburn up to an extra 12MB on the CD (set to Disc-at-Once with short lead-out).

Why bother to burn discs for? Just play off a stand-alone media player or direct from your PC hooked up to your telly via HDMI/VGA. It’s so fiddly ejecting/inserting discs when you can just use a remote to select movies.

Some movies do compress well to 700 MB if it is not an action flick and No Reservation is not an action flick. I undestand you wanting to see Catherine in full quality though. ;)

I am a fan of the romance comedy movies but do find many to be repetitive. I was figuring this to be much the same only it really wasn’t Zeta’s character just seemed to flow and I really enjoyed the undramatic approach to something so life altering leaning towards real life which made it easily relatable. Excellent film.
