Such as...How many people get hit by cars while wearing sunglasses? well, let's draft a law that you have to remove your sunglasses before crossing the street - punishable by a $200 fine...I could go on and on. The other point is that making such a thing illegal tends to absolve the driver of any responsibility in the event that he hits and kills someone under these circumstances. Which of course means that your family will not receive any insurance benefits in the event of your untimely demise. Open season on all Ipod wearers... Also, do you think this moron of a politician actually cares about you and I? no way, he probably drafted up this law for one of 3 reasons...to get publicity because he is running for re-election, wants a way to increase the government coffers, or has some vested interest in seing insurance institutions not have to pay out so much money in settlements or seeing Ipod sales diminish...perhaps he's a Sony man.
