No Country For Old Men CAM XViD-CAMERA

No Country for Old Men is a 2007 film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s novel of the same name, written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. Production started in May 2006 on location in Texas and New Mexico. The title of the film is from the first line of W. B. Yeats’ poem “Sailing to Byzantium”.

The film first screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19, 2007. The film opened in limited release in the United States on November 9, 2007, and will have a wide release in the United States on November 21, 2007. The film will be released in the United Kingdom on January 18, 2008.

Plot: Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon some dead bodies, a stash of heroin and more than $2 million in cash near the Rio Grande River.

Tagline for this very highly rated movie – One discovery can change your life. One mistake can destroy it. Group CAMERA is as usual on a roll with its cam release’s and brings us yet another one, this time a rather interesting flick. Standard 1CD cam audio and video I presume. Group Info states that the “cam moves a bit, cropped the best we could, we tried to reduce flicker. The silver people do not understand english so pal means nothing to them so here is an NTSC CAM.” And following CAMERA’s ever famous words – For all the people who watch CAMs Smoke up and enjoy!

Too good of a movie to waste watching a cam version, but that’s just my opinion. I’ve wait for at least an R5 of this or screener. But a big THANKS to CAM for their hard work.

This cam is watchable, barely. The flicker isn’t too bad after awhile, but at 31 minutes in there is a couple minutes of horrible static and you can’t hear what is being said. Great movie though, picture quality I give 7/10, sound I give 4/10. Great film.

I saw this in the theatre and it was incredibly tense. Even a cam version of this is worth it.

It would have been epic hadn’t two middle-aged women parked behind me and yapped through the whole thing.

    “Is he dead?” one says…
“No I don’t think so” says the other…
“He’s in a morgue you dumbass!” I finally yell.

I’m never going to a theatre again. I’m going to enjoy this from the comfort of my home…not to mention its distance from morons.

    Piracy ftw.

Dude, have you even read the book? About bloody time a major movie stayed true to the book, rather than re-writing the story to please morons in cinemas. Check this movie on Metacritic, loads of 100% reviews. If you loved “Transformers” you won’t like this. Know what I mean?

I decided to see this movie instead of beowulf and from the score beowulf got I am glad.
One this that pisses me off though is that it cost $11.50 to see it. That is probably the last time I go to the show again.
Greedy bastards can keep there movies.

Anyways, this movie was great except for the end where it got really boring. Should wait for a dvdrip at least.

Since this Oscar material, I’d say they’ll be a DVD Screener of it coming within the next 2 months. I’d advice waiting.

Hopefully, if it measures up (which it looks like it does, Bardem is THE man) I can purchase it on release and add it to my collection of fine Coen DVDs.

So much hype around this movie bad and good I can’t wait for a better either. Unfortunately it’s been said that the sound in this movie has a major impact, i guess just the FX, because it barely has a score at all. Hope the audio isn’t too bad, I usually don’t care much in other movies. oh well

Just expect an ending that will have half the theater saying “WHAT THE HELL?!?!” depending on the crowd, before you download lol

Yes well half the people in the world are below average intelligence, that doesn’t mean you let them judge your opinions!

It’s called subtlety — great films have it. Transformers does not.

“THE END IS CUT OFF”? What are you talking about? This ain’t no Bruce Willis “I will kill you all” crap. It’s a masterpiece. Innovative, original, fantastically played (Bardem! Jones! Brolin!) A a critic called his review “No Movie For Old Endings”.

    November 29th, 2007 | 23:41

to the jackass that said the ending sucked. the coen brothers and the novelist are making a statement about how everything is always begining/ending linear, nothing ever really ends in life, like this movie. great f’ckin film. jackass

Give me a break! The movie sucked…And I am not even talking about the ending. It had more holes in it than Swiss Cheese…Sure!!! I just found a Gazillion dollars, and hey I think I’ll go back to the scene of the crime. I too am thinking of a life of mischief… But I think I am going to use a Swordfish. I will methodically walk up to my prey and before they know it whack em over the head. And for those of you that somehow saw the meaning of life by watching this garbage, maybe a good whack with a Swordfish in the head is what you need!
