NITBits WaveMax Sound Editor v3.8-DVT
If you need to do “simple” tasks with sound such as recording, converting, editing – this one will do it. Of course it can’t beat (in features) big names like Sony Sound Forge or Steinberg Wavelab, but it have some advantages.

For this kind of work I prefer Cool Edit or Audition 1.5 nothing comes even close…
WaveLab 5 kicks a$$!
Use Audition 1.5 with WaveArts plug in. It’s the true master.
for simple editing , i use the nero wave editor from the 6.6 suite ….
Nero 6.6 was the last good nero edition !
